    Absolute disgrace :47:. First Mick McCarthy was fined when he done it at Wolves against United and now Holloway is getting it at Blackpool. Even though he made 10 changes it took a full strength Aston Villa side to score the winner in the last minute of that game. Why tell every club to name a 25 player squad then fine them for using other players apart from there first 11. Why didn't * Wenger get fined when he made 8 changes to the team against Wigan at the DW stadium which beat Chelsea 3-1 a few days pior in December. Absolute bellends who run the FA, should be shot. Holloway said he would chuck it if he got fined, i hope he doesn't, i for one hope he brings up the Arsenal team against Wigan in December and see what the FA do about it, probably * all cause its one of the big teams and big managers :31::31:

    It is pish and Holloway made a very valid arguement. He did not braek any rules coz he did play players from his 25 squad. What is the point in that rule if you aren't allowed to pick the squad you see fit? Poor show by the FA

    As the manager u should be able to play who ever u want within ur squad, do clubs get fined for rotating thier squad?no! surely they are not playing thier strongest available team every game.

    This really is a complete joke of a decision. I would assume Blackpool are going to appeal this. My understanding is he picked his team out of players from his listed 25 man first team squad. So from what I can see Blackpool did nothing wrong.

    This actually really angered me the day, surely the FA can't tell the manager his best 11 ffs, as long as they're in the 25 man squad then the manager can do whatever the * he wants. Absolute disgrace. :38:

    exactly, even more * stupid that they've had to comply with only being allowed a max of 25 players. Therefore those players should be able to be played whenever the manager sees fit.

    Even more stupid now that there is a player cap!

    We all know he was just resting his players. It was an intentionally weakened team. Think of all the supporters who travelled to the game and saw a reserve team. :38:

    If they were consistent with the rule, you wouldnt mind but they have picked on two clubs that are doing all they can to stay in the EPL on their first season promoted.

    I'd like to see them go after clubs 'rotating' for European matches. Its still fielding weaker teams, thats basically what rotation is unless you have pots of gold but even then the best 11 is known and everything else is the 'weaker 11'.

    What would have happened if Blackpool snatched the late winner in that match? Not a chance they be fined.

    I would have used different wording, if he's resting players, he is doing so to make them stronger for other games. If possible he wouldn't have to rest anyone- or the players who come in would be just as good as the rest. it's the 25-man rule that is *. You need those 25, so why the * not use them?

    You support your team whatever and their fans are no different. They don't have incredibel depth but the gap in ability between their reserves and their first team is by far less than that of most other teams. They registered 25 players, they should be able to pick from them however they want. Double standards and they deserve nothing but to be allowed to field whatever side they want.

    Plus, they have a small squad, where players from the reserves and youth may have to do a job if injuries and suspensions- that's the grey area on this rule as well, what if you're forced to play a weakened team.

    Who's to say (like when a player is about to move clubs), that they 'weren't in the right frame of mind' to play. How the * does the fitba association know. Loada *.
