I would like to revamp 'fritz a grand ol team' as its a bit old and cheesey, needs some fat beats
couldnt disagree more, I say keep him and build a team around him by adding quality to the team. Hes a plaer i like and entertains as well, exciting to watch, we arent skint like loyds RfC so dont need to sell all our best players the ones we have been selling we sell is because they are not goosd enough or because there ego outstrips there ability

It says £8million in the sun also. He can jog on. He worth more than that and i wouldnt sell him at any price right in the middle of a season. The time for players like McGeady to go is in the summer.

I really think we should not be selling our best players but I feel £14million is an amount we just cant refuse, I wouldnt be too unhappy if this came to fruition and it enabled us to sign Stilic as a replacement along with a TOP quality striker and a TOP quality CB, during THIS window. If this cannot be done then I feel that we would be best holding on to him until the summer, without Aiden or replacements I feel we could miss out on the CL and the £10 million that goes along with it, which makes selling him rather pointless!!

I think its fair to say, he will be sold at one point, say we get 10 mil for him, thats basically a 10 mil profit, a club like ours relys on making profit from players, but its not everyday we make 10 mil profit on a home grown player from the youth system.

But one thing is for sure, we will NEVER be able to replace him, to replace McGeady we would have to spend 10 million upwards and pay the guy about 40k a week. Thats not gonna happen, so which ever way you look at it, we are weakining our side no matter what.

Id hold onto him for another year, try give him another crack at the champions league. It would be crazy to sell any of our best players in January. Hes not gonna decrease in value from now until the summer, or even next year for that matter.

Telegraph says 14mil.... not a fukin chance.

The sun is more realistic...8mil but we wont sell him for 8mil.

I wouldnt want to see McGeady go! :50:

Does anyone think McGeady would even want to go to Birmingham? To play with backwards Barry. If we sell McGeady we're handing the league to Rangers. It's too big a risk to take. I don't think we could get anyone else in to replace him. Not in this tranfser window anyway.

£14m is a alot of money but i really dont want him to leave even at that price we are not in financial ruins like the huns so we should be keeping our best player and building a team around him.

Anything over 10 million and we will have to seriously consider it.

We don't need to sell him. Do Birmingham still want Boyd?

Wasting their time with 8m bids, no way in * we'd accept that.

If it were the 14m quoted by the telegraph, we simply couldn't refuse that. Although I think he could do with another season here, he will plateau in our poor league.

That's the long and the short of it for me. If for arguments sake McGeady was to develop into something resembling world class, then there is just no way he should be plying his trade in the SPL.

Im not so sure about that O'Neill. 14 million would bankroll a few signings and leave us money to spare. Mcgeady is a class act but if we sell him we can still win the league. Think of it this way. If you had a car you loved worth about 8 grand and someone offered you 14 grand for it, would you take it? Thats the way i see it.

I do see your point, but can we really afford the to sell the guy that has caried us for the season and risk falling further behind while new guys 'gel' together ? Theres no doubting its a incredible amount of money, highest ever paid for a spl player ? But if we can just hang onto him for 6 more months then I would cash in maybe ?
