But do we want to play the same style of football that we all moan that the huns are playing. Surely Mowbray plays the Celtic way?

To be honest I haven't seen Burnley play under Coyle so I don't know what their style is like. My gut feeling is though, that it is too soon for Coyle to be Celtic manager. Maybe once he has experienced the Premiership and proved himself a bit more he will be a suitable candidate. Just my opinion.

My dad just rang me up to talk about this, he is backing Bilic for the job as well - basically echoing what everyone says on here.

Im still staying loyal to Mogga lol

I'd be happy with either of them to be honest mate. They are the ONLY 2 of all the people being mentioned that I will be truly happy with though.

Im focusing on the positives Markybhoy.

While Coyle may be inxperienced you can't deny that his achievements so far are impressive.

He has done well but I just can't shake the feeling that it's just over a year since he was at St.Johnstone. It all seems too fast for me. Plus, and I know this may sound stupid, when I see him on the tv he just doesn't look like a man that has a 'presence' about him. I feel that Mogga and Bilic do have that presence. To be honest I think the Celtic job would overawe Coyle at this point.

I know what you mean about presence. I do.

Mowbray has it. Bilic has it, and he has more charisma than Mogga.

Breaking news on SSN: Coyle wants permission to speak to Celtic. Burnley say any approach is unwelcome, so looks like we haven't appraoched him yet.

Get Bilic out of your head, his agent said he would be happy to talk to us, not that he wanted to come!! you will be less disappointed when he doesn't come if you get it out of your head now. Anyway Coyle looks probable now.

Nah Coyle will be too expensive as he would insist on money instead of the Celtic Shop and Jock Stein lounge vouchers the board want to pay half his proposed £6000 quid annual salary with. The new gaffer's wife will have to wash the kits at night as part of the biscuit tin drive. In fact the tin will probably be sold on 'cash in the attic' so the manager will just have a couple of digestives (with Fergus McCann's falsers marks on the edges) to trade with.

I have no faith in the board, pretty sure they will appoint a replacement who will play the same * dross style of football that WGS has been cinsistant with in the past few years.

Bilic hands down. Could be a great manager for us.

Mate there is no doubt that there has been serious amounts of crap flying about, but Rudi was on real radio clearly stating that Billic has turned down sunderland and a £50million war chest, because he wants the celtic job, but that Celtic have not even been back in contact with him since he notified them of Billic's interest.
