Obviously not. But you'll find any with a year left on their contract could come pretty cheap.

Lawell just doesnt see him as a yes man.

strange CV in terms of management but at least he knows the top level as a player and manager. Bit of a gamble due to lack of club management IMO. Too big a risk.

If we have a chance to get Bilic and instead plump for McGhee or Coyle it is a sad indictment of our ambitions for the future! Neither of those managers would have the player pull or international appeal that Bilic would bring! Celtic board, sort it out! We deserve something to cheer about following this seasons endurance test!

    Oh Aye !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    BILIC is our man !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:shamrock:

We go on & on about how big a club we are & all that, so lets think big & get Bilic !!!!!!!!!!!!!

He's young, imaginative, know's the game well, can handle the media, likes to play a good passing game & importantly is hungry for success & wants to WIN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Oh aye & He's thumped Engurland !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Actually who are Coyle, McGhee & Mowbary ?:38:

Coyle - finished a distant 5th in the English Championship & basically won 2 games to get his team promoted & will get found out in the Premeirship next season.
McGhee - managed & was turfed out of 2 world famous clubs - Brighton & Hove Albion & Millwall !!!!!!!!!!! (Oh & recommended Adam Virgo to Strachan !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) & now is struggling with another world renowned club Motherwell !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mowbary - Just got his team relegated, FFS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(or do you need more !!??!!)

So do we want these 3 numpties or a true European in, Bilic, whose name will attract a lot of good players to Celtic.(& the Huns will start * even before the new season starts !!!!!!!!!!!!!):celt_2:

Go on Lawell & Desmond, go & get the man !!!!!!!!!
He wants to come here man, so what the * * is the problem !!??!!

Why do you think the Scottish press are going on about the above mentioned 3 numpties, simple, they want them at Celtic, to make sure the Huns will win again next season !!!!!!!!!!!

    So here's to BILIC !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:50:

    They guys is class.

He's currently paid about 5k a week which is half of what WGS was paid.

Any he was instrumental in developing the early International careers of Modric, Eduardo and Corluka, helping them make the step up.

Nuff said. I f he is a possibility we need to get it done. If not I'll obviously support the club to my fullest, but I'll have a very unsure feeling about the board. Financial stability is great, but there's being overly cautious. It cost us this season, 10m in fact.

Moyes is the only one listed with a CV better or even as good as WGS and MON before they came. The rest are steps backward. If I simply had to chose someone else out of the usual list then Mogga or Levein. Mogga because he has some EPL experience and plenty SPL experience as a manager, seemed to have a good football style at Hibs/was good with youth and he seems a very decent guy. Levien seems to have something about him and has a lot of experience of doing well with relatively skint SPL teams. He would probably be a good SPL manager. He has a little European experience too. Arguably the safe bet to help us regain the SPL. Seems to have a real eye for players too and a great organiser too.

Part of me is cautious about Bilic.

Hes a pup in managerial terms and has never managed a club side.

Could he handle the expectation that will be inevitably placed on him here?

On the plus side he would be a refreshing choice and would no doubt introduce attacking and (effective) flowing football, and we probably see some promising young Croats coming over.

agree with this, he would need time to get to know the club and league. Hopefully if we were to get him he would hit the ground running
