Firrst and foremost, can I just say no matter who our next manager is I will support him come * or high water and would hope all of you will do the same. however when you get a guy like Billic expressing an interest in managing Celtic, well you would need to be as thick as * not to at the very least talk to him. If it turns out he wants too much wages or wants a bigger transfer budget than is realistic then fair enough we move on to other guys who might better fit the bill but at least the board could then say they explored the option. Rudi Vatta just about said everything except big Billic is a * tim and he wont be hard to deal with so if the board and Peter Lawell in particular go ahead and appoint Owen Coyle and he aint that great, well they can share a * taxi coz I reckon this is one gift horse we cant afford to ignore.:shamrock::31:

I got no problem with Owen Coyle but the way I see it is the guy has spent this year getting out of the championship, and he succeeded , good on him, Billic on the other hand must have watched a million players from virtually every european country so MUST have a good idea who is a player and who aint. He has yet to manage at club level and aye thats a decent point but the guy is managing a better than decent international side and doing a good job, a wee bit different from watching that * dumplin Steven Thompson running about like a * idiot all season. Now I`m a thick * joiner and I know that, c`mon Celtic do the right thing and make Walter and Ally think about another career, maybe a question of sport will take the loathesome little * back !!!

I thought Thompson had a good season at Burnley? He was excellent in the play-off final, did the target man job superbly.

    I take your point though.

Well that is the point, Thompson is in effect a championship player and Coyle had a job to do which was get Burnley out of that league and promoted so to that end your right , Thompson and Coyle both done the job asked of them . Now here is the thing , can Thompson move up a grade and do a job in the premiership? seriously doubt it and can Coyle take the step up and manage Celtic ? Worried the answer to that might be no as well.

would like to think that from all the candidates mentioned Slavan Billic would have a * better idea what the next level is than the rest.
