well heres my two cents worth.

im a catholic from Australia and im keen to learn about Irish Scottish history as life goes on...but as i do not fully understand all the problems and wat so ever goes on in ur countries i really dont care to see it on the site....that may be arrogant as it is a great part of some of your lifes..but as some one coming from a neutral point of view it messes up a FOOTBALL forum greatly....atm there are rules set about this thing and we have had people in the last couple of months banned from it and again this does not reflect well on the site or the admins as CM and the rest do alot to try and clean it all up.

reagrding the racist n bigotry problems as has been greatly stated before these problems do not belong in football and i am 100% behind that..but in saying that i do realise that not all of it is bigatry but plain good banter.

so that is coming from aneutral point of view which im sure many people here on this site are from..
this is a Football forum where (hence the name) we talk about football...y shuld we lower our standars to those of other sites who do not try and take the stand that our owners and admin take

I think we should be allowed to use the word Hun(Cause I don't like using the word Rangers) but not much else now, for what it's worth when I hear Hun fans calling us Tims It doesn't offend me one bit but Feenian and Taig does. Agree?

I don't really care, it's just a bit of banter. I mean i call my friends huns but at the end of the day they are my mates and it's just good crack. What has celtic and rangers in scotland got to do with irish problems and even still why cant the irish just solve their problems and " get over it!"

because if it wasnt for the irish travellin over every week there would only be 40-45,000 in the ground. if it wasnt for the irish there would be no such club as cfc.

    very ignorant comment kerr

I'm not saying they shouldn't support celtic, i'm just saying that the problems in ireland shouldn't be anything to do with us and i don't even see why they just call it quits it's so stupid. But hey i think it's great we have so many irish followers and i hope it stays that way.

All the secratarism that goes on, i don't mind it for a bit of banter but there are too many fanatics who take things too far

take some advice - read a book or two.

also if you take a look around parkhead, the people mainly responsible for singing songs that are not connected to celtic are mainly......SCOTTISH

sectarianism is a big problem in Scotland as well, dont just lump it on us Irish.

i have got a question: everywhere where it says * against fascism, there is a swastika as well. i think the modern fascism was created in italy by mussolini, before WW2.

and the swastika actually represents the national socialism created by *-germany.

    or am i wrong?

because there was no symbol of Italian fascism, it was deemed the swastika could be used, as fascism is now present in the form of Neo-Nazism. i think thats why mate.

yes that could be the answer. i guess really everybody knows the meaning of a swastika. that was some kind of a fascism symbol, but no one would recognize it lol.

anyway both things have to be fought.

Celtic fans are not bigots. If we were we would hate ever club in Scotland just as much as Rangers as I believe the majority of each club support would be of the Protestant faith, but we don't. we only have a problem with those who dislike us for our Catholic/Irish origins.
However I believe ever Celtic fan should stand shoulder to shoulder against the discrimination faced in Scottish society rather than pretending it isn't there and is an Irish problem.

When "they" stop walking down my street with there drums and * flutes and all the rest of it then i might consider stopping the bigotry but i think it adds a wee bit more excitment and feeling to the game.

Every club has bigots, racists and sectarians, some clubs have more than others obviously, just like depends on the club on how to deal with it. It's now more noticeable at Ibrox with Rangers fans than it is with Celtic fans, but you can't say theres none at Celtic park, as that would be denying the truth.
