the central defence has been disasterous all season, and given that the manager is a former CB, he should've been able to do something to shore this up, compensate or tailor tactics so that this frailty wouldn't be so regularly exposed.

Which leads on to the 2nd point. The manager. I really do want TM to do well, because he comes across as a real genuine type of guy, however there are growing concerns. Some of his team selections, tactics & substitutions have left many scratching heads in bewilderment or disbelief and the fact that we have so often seen the same errors time and time again suggests that something is either being overlooked or papered over on the training ground. Add it up, and I'm starting to wonder if he is starting to buckle under the gravity of expectation. Please, Tony, prove me wrong.

we need a true captain, a leader with proven experience who will give the players a kick up the * every game, cos mobray is too quiet on the sidelines for my opinion.

I couldnt believe it when we were getting beat 2-1 and he just stood slumped against the dug out.

Yep, I'd agree with that. Mowbray tactics are comparable with a seven year old playing championship manager. He subs-on one attacking player for each of the goals we need to claw back. Hasn't worked, won't work. Can't believe we've come full circle to a management style like this again. It's like the noughties never happened. With a bit more patience and less unnecessarily reckless and panicky attacking, we could be a solid team again.

You may want to blame the defenders and its right to, but WE all know the reason we are ten points behind is because our * strikers we had before january now we are getting better and will start to score more but i blame the STRIKE FORCE

stop playing wingers play wing backs only the ball in around the 25-18 box parallel up and down the park contain the play there and you will have there defenders bumping into one and other constantly, and have one hold up player there, and the game is controlled, as they can never use the off side trap rule and you will have 3 at least your own player wait on a return pass with in striking distance from goal, a player must be told as when he has the ball, no mater what he must pass to a certain player on a regular basis and him self be in the position to receive the pass or the next but one move from that

Strikers not taking their chances and the defence being very poor. I would have said the management but I will hold back as I understand the * he's had to clean up from the previous one.

Without a shadow of a doubt defending! The mistakes made by our defence this season has been at an all time high.....and its individual errors at the back in my opinion. And after the defenders give goals away we have been struggling to finish off our chances which is also costing us points. Its been a tough season so far!:54:

Without doubt for me our biggest problems have been at the back. We have for the most part been quite dominant for long spells in most games and yet given very little pressure and quality we get opened up game after game. Particuarly we have struggled with our center backs who have been exposed in the air, 1v1, for pace, individual errors etc all season long. Having said that we have had plenty of problems up front also as there are many games that we could have won even allowing for the problems at the back if we had been good in front of goal.

no cover for defenders from midfield and no support goals wise from midfield bring back stan petrov because the day we sold him the goals from midfield dryed up.

Two culprits in my mind. Loovens and McGeady.

Loovens cant defend * all. Everyone was moaning about mcManus and caldwell. McManus had won 3 in a row, Caldwell 2 in a row. Bring in Loovens, and Rangers won the league. He also, not only made ONE mistake at Ibrox, but TWO that led to 2 goals.

McGeady is a 1 trick pony. How many times was our full back caught out 2 v 1 coz McGreedy had lost the ball and didn't track back. For someone that is supposed to be the best player in scotland(not in my eyes though), he doesnt do enough to justify it. How many wingers have ypu seen that have as poor a final ball as he has??

I voted 'other'. The biggest weakness this season has been Tony Mowbray. Every one of our players is capable of SPL level.

    Defence For Me!

Defence for me- in particular the centre backs-
They couldnae tackle a fish supper! :56::56:

In fact I should not be laughing is there a wee face that could shed some tears- that would be more appropriate!
