    Good call Minty with Liam Miller, he doesn't get mentioned enough in this thread come to think of it. Completely abandonded the team after we stuck by him for so long. Mind you, he paid badly for it, so there's always a bit of sympathy for that.

    Think it was more to do with Strach trying to force him out, and to be fair its hardly Bobos fault that MON made him that contract offer, im sure most people would be happy to sit on the bench collecting 30k rather than go to France and get perhaps a 1/3 of that wage.

    Strachan didn't try to force him out, Balde was actively seeking a new club the same summer that we signed Strachan as manager. It was Bobo who wanted to leave.
