You've changed your tune Martin. When that idiot McKenna attempted to make his 'joke' I suggested at the time that by even talking about it we were giving it credibility that it didn't deserve.

Only to be told by you that we should get it all out out in the open and discuss the 'facts' or lack of them to clear Big Jock.

Good to see you're coming round to my way of thinking on something.

That's not quite what happened. Someone on this forum asked outright what BJK meant. You threatened to delete any answer to his direct question. I tied to PM him with an answer but, strangely, I was unable to respond to his PM asking me what it meant. I believed then, as I do now, that if someone asks that question it should be answered - and that way they will hopefully get the truth. That is rather different from undertaking a campaign to counter the slur. They are different things.

I don't think that a campaign is actually required for this as the accusations are so laughable.

As you can see above, I have * up the multi quote thing. How do I quote parts of a post separately and put my points in between them ?

Agreed. This is all bullshit dreamt up by sad huns. The fact that we are all flapping about it will only serve to encourage the * to continue with this.

We should just ignore this pish, and let those sad * go about their knuckledragging business.

Like this? If you've got 2 separate quotations you can put your text in between.

We have been ignoring this for a long time now,in the expectation that if we didn't gave it the oxygen of publicity it would die down. The fact is it hasn't.Stein, his wife and his daughter are now dead.He has a son who has lived in Switzerland for the last 20 odd years who may or may not be fully aware of the continued lies and allegations that are being spread by people. In actuality it has got worse and not better with us ignoring it.Now some Hearts & Motherwell fans have joined in.

I'm not talking about Real Radio here but the official approved section of all these clubs and their on-line partners.I would be open to the idea of having them explain their actions, we are not talking about a couple of Huns here but several websites, and as i said the approved section of their support. The last time i had a login on FF Dingwall was going on about how it wasn't about point scoring:87: when it certainly is.The Blue Order have a you-tube clip on their own website where you can clearly hear the fans singing it.I believe by ignoring this, the Huns think we are scared of it and adds to the whole conspiracy aspect of it.If it can be brought out in the open Murray/RST/ will be forced to confront it,especially with the SFA's new directives.

I think though that actions needs to come from CFC.Pressurise Murray, get the media involved, and demand action from the SFA.

Good post mate, this is far more widespread than people care to think.

You go onto random youtube video's and there are comments from people with the slogan as part of their username, bebo pages with the same, and remember this is only random. How much of this is actually out there.

All this "ignore and it will go away" stuff is nonsense. It is getting worse, and for people to say it is getting worse because we are talking about it, well, how * naive a comment is that.

Absolutely Paul. This is coming from the RST both directly and indirectly,Dingwall is on the board there. The longer this, like any other lie, goes on the more people will believe it.It needs to be challenged and the blanket silence from the media and our own club is puzzling.I haven't personally gone on to the BJK knew site but i know fans who have and it's sickening. We are not the only club who have suffered this kind of smear tactic,Liverpool for example and the fans there certainly made a difference.

Broadfoot is an *. He refuses to blame Rangers solely for what they do, instead he says "not just Rangers fans". He always refuses to condemn them, whether on radio, or in his newspaper column.

No mention of BJK, just that clubs, "not just Rangers", sing about Celtic Boys Club. Then right on cue, says it's as bad as Davie Cooper and Ian Durrant, but refuses to say that Celtic fans don't chant about these two.

Oh aye Broadfoot is an * no doubt and as usual it's the 2 side of the same coin argument. At least though he has put down a marker against it for whatever reason and for that he should be applauded

    Dear Mr Galloway,
I am writing to you firstly to thank you for finally being the first person to speak out about this disgracful campaign to slur the name of Jock Stein. This campaign has been going on for several weeks, in fact months as i remember sitting in the away end at ibrox for the last old firm game of last season and hearing the morons singing the song. it has been swept under the carpet by all in the press and by all those on radio and not one single person with any voice or any authority has even batted an eyelid or dared to condem this spiteful campaign. that is until yourself brought the issue up on your radio show and in your newspaper column. So for being the first to do so, thank you.
I am also writing to ask if you could please use the power that you have to please help stop this sickining campaign. There are several celtic supporters like mysel who are making an effort to stop this through a campaign of letter writing to people in positions of power, i.e. David Murray, Martin Bain and Gordon Smith, however i fear our complaints and concerns will fall on death ears and the greatest manager in scottish football's reputation will continue to be besmirched by these idiots. I therefore feel to help stop this campaign of shame, a figurehead like yourself is needed to help fight the campaign. I therefore ask that you consider my request and continue to condon these morons actions and also use your position to lobby these people in power in order to get this stopped.
Finally, I would like to say how disgusted I was by the actions of those who attacked you at Glasgow airport. Thankfully I do not think you will ever allow these people to stop you from speaking your beliefs and fighting for what you believe to be right.

    Thank you for you time,

    Yours sincerely

    Ryan McGregor

    My letter to George Galloway
