    Fair do's m8.
Thing is though hammer, why do you place so much faith in other people's opinions, rather than form your own regardless of what others think?
You know where i'm coming from here, so don't confuse the issue.

I've never played or managed football to as high a level as scouts/managers/players/ex players surely if you're going to be influenced by someone be influenced by those in the know?

I do form my own opinion it just happens to agree perfectly with Strachans and that is that we're a far more compact professional looking football team with a good footballer such as Jan in the side.

No, i think you shouldn't let anyone influence your opinion, you don't have to play the game to have appreciation and an ability to form a good opinion, be it controversial or not.
There are a lot of guys out there, involved heavily in the game who know very little. Why they are involved is anyone's guess.
My point being hammer, it makes no difference to me, when i'm discussing something with you, what jim jeffrey's opinion is on the matter.

Probably to Samaras? Don't you mean blatantly obviously to Samaras? He wont drop VoH for anyone bar him IMO.

Tbh, think the big guys been coming onto a bit of form since Samaras came.

No i don't rosco, there's a chance this Hutchison fella can be the man to dislodge him.
I think his game has improved since Samaras's arrival, but to me that suggests quite a character flaw, possibly proof of a complete mercenary.
And also after seeing about 45mins of Samaras over 2 games i'm convinced he's streets ahead of Jan.

It is interesting that his good form seems to have co-incided with Samaras's arrival. Can it be right that a highly paid international player needs the arrival of a possible rival to inspire him into the kind of performance he's turning in now?
