Bcoz their bonuses were not affected so they don't give a *.

The footballing side and in particular transfer windows are nothing more than an inconvenience to the board

If you look at it this way. Around a month till our opening game of the season.

1 month to get the absolute essentials in when we’ve had a month already with no incomings.

The more time passes, the more I am starting to believe Rodgers has indeed come here just to make amends for his hasty escape last time, and did not demand anything of the board. He's clearly had players foisted on him he didn't fancy, just like last time (Lagerbielke), and expenditure has been meager.

I'm not afraid to admit it but my pants are beginning to get just a wee bit damp as I have been mentally scarred due to previous transfer nightmares. Hopefully we see some movement soon or I'll need to be visitiing M&S to buy some new briefs

A lot of people seem to have less patience this year. Looking at all the recent social media posts by the clubs in the comments it's people telling them to hurry up and actually buy players.

Probably waiting for players to go out, and use any money for deals to see what they got to play around with.

Probably hoping to grt oreilly out door for as much as they can and frimpong then maybe spend about 1/2 the incoming, £15-20m on about 6 or 7 players

Celtic trio, Yang Hyun-Jun, Hyeon-gyu Oh, and Yuki Kobayashi could all depart the club this summer, sources have told Football Insider.

Football Insider journalist and Scottish expert Daniel Bowers, speaking to Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, believes all three men “struggled to make an impact” this season

Their performances could be reflected in the Hoops summer transfer activity, as all three men might be heading for new challenges for next season.

Yang might be loaned out rather than being moved on permanently, but Kobayashi is expected to “certainly leave” during in this window.

Oh’s concerned, his potential transfer out of Celtic Park is dependent on whether or not the club signs Adam Idah.

Oh didn’t get many minutes in the second half of the season, with the on-loan Norwich City forward being favoured by Brendan Rodgers, and if he’s signed permanently this summer, then the South Korean might be surplus to requirements

While the trio of players all joined Celtic in 2023, their lack of game time has raised questions over their long-term future at the club.

Yang scored just one goal in 31 appearances last season in all competitions, with Oh finding the back of the net five times in 26 games.

Meanwhile, Kobayashi didn’t play a single game throughout the previous campaign, having only featured seven times since joining the Hoops.

Celtic haven’t been busy this summer, which is a situation that is concerning fans due to pre-season being around the corner.

Praying we start hearing more concrete news with the new financial year … We need starters in that team.

Surely to * we can’t do the same as we done last year… it would genuinely be unforgivable.

We are just pound signs to Celtic. They say all the right things about the support but ultimately they don't give a *.

The reality of the situation is for every season ticket holder that stops paying there another 2 or 3 that will pay so the board don't lose a penny.

Definitely less patience but I think that's because there was at least a squad together this time last year. Also new manager wants to see what he can do with current stock. Now we don't have a keeper, we need a new CB, Kyogo wasn't as on fire last season so need a new striker. Our squad is weaker than 12 months ago.

I would like Rodgers to back himself as a coach and take all those young players from our academy and build the new team around them. SEVCO are broke and in total re-build mode, we have automatic route into Champions league. Let’s bring thru some of our young players this season.

No doubt Lawell and the rest of the board will be looking at the shambles over in the Asbestos bigot dome and be thinking that we don't really need to spend big bucks to be that one step ahead of them which could come back to bite us on the * as it so nearly did last season

The fact we're prioritising outgoings and seem to have no issues at concluding these deals fairly quickly shows the mess that is out scouting and recruitment set up.

The number of people we need to go as well is another indicator of this shambles.

Well get players in, yes. But we're a month in to the window, season starts in a month shows we're already behind in planning. Now I'm not expecting all business or even half our business done at this point, but not to have 2 first team starters in is poor.

Not a major criticism yet!!! But it is a concern that we haven't made any adjustments or improvements to our set up.

Is it arrogance that it works (barely) or genuine in denial to this. Whichever it is, we need to step it up this summer.

A shambles a head of recruitment hasn’t been appointed yet and the window is open today.

I’m being cautiously optimistic and hoping it’s because there is a restructuring taking place and potentially looking at a DOF type of model.

In reality it’s because we are struggling to find a suitable candidate so it’ll be another nepotistic appointment.

I'm not sure on this one, but let's assume true and it's lack of DoF
    .
Should be easy to attract outstanding DoF/head of recruitment, right?
Big budget, ambitious and successful coach/club, even more millions coming in???
Or maybe....candidates take one look at our recent history of recruitment, penny pinching and board interfering/nepotism and say, nah your all right mate?
