Established, experienced internationals arnt really our business model and for whatever reason, despite our constant penny pinching we never really utilise bosman market.

Why sign quality internationals for free when you can * £6m+ on absolute * from South Korea

 

We just never seem to want to build on a position of strength when what is required is available and right in front of us, I want us to sign McKenna and Armstrong as they will add strength to the backline and midfield but Peter and the Board will prefer to waste millions on * projects who contribute nothing to the team.

 

Lot of whinging feckers about today making up scenarios in their heads and running it with it like it was gospel....ah well enjoy guys, whatever makes ye miserable.

An incredible small pool to work in never minding finding good ones that would improve us and actually want to come here.

McKenna and Armstrong would be good signings add some experience for Europe.

 

We'd be outta Europe after just 3 games with those in the squad. Add absolutely nothing the the current squad imo.

Both would enhance our squad immediately..

McKenna is better than all our CBs bar CCV..

Armstrong has been excellent for Southampton, still dynamic, eye for a goal and more experienced now. I'd be happy with both.

I've been all for signing McKenna on a free and I think he performed ok over in Denmark. Not great but ok. We have just been loosely linked with Kvistgaarden again, the Copenhagen vs Brondby game that finished 2-1 to Brondby, you see Kvistgaarden get the better of McKenna, quite comfortably.

 

McKenna is carthorse, not even close to our level, he's playing Danish league as he can't even get in the squad at Forest ffs.
Armstrong is not close to what he was at Celtic.

All these ex players like Ajer, Eddy and KT being linked, please no.
Ok, KT can come back if less than £10M!!!

 

I’d take Ajer and Eddy over KT. I definitely don’t want Armstrong.

 

Ajer would walk into this side. Same with Eddy. That’s exactly the types of players we need.

Not saying we go for ex-players but that type of quality.

 

I've said it before I honestly think Ajer was overrated to *

 

The time for signing McKenna was 5 years ago or more, when we wouldn’t pay Aberdeen what they wanted. He’s past his best now.


Armstrong was very good for us but he’ll be looking for more than we’ll ever pay him. Probably end up in the Championship.
