Hopefully he gets some good staff in to help aid him getting in the targets that he wants. We needed a few quality players in before even losing anybody so with the likes of idah, hart, O’Riley and possibly more going we have a good bit of work to do

I'd be fine with a few players moving on, as long as we can keep our key players (Cal, CCV, Kyogo, Maeda) then I would be okay with anyone else leaving for the right money.

O'Riley will obviously be gone too but that was a given.

BR is right - the squad needs a shake-up, and I think we need more players in who can play to his strengths - our squad is still very much built for Angeball.

all of them need to walking into the first team type quality. We have loads of deadwood who have been here for 3 seasons so his comments are bang on for me.

Are we likely to lose one of our big players? Probably but as long as we replace them.

My issue is the last two windows have been * rotten.

We need to get this one right.

 

You could honestly say the last 4 windows have been rotten tbh.

How many good players did we sign in those 4 windows? Idah, Bernardo, Mooy, Johnston and Iwata. Two of them are loans, one retired and including Iwata is being generous.

 

Outwith ange first two windows gathering recruitment since summer 2020 has been a * shambles

Can't help feel pessimistic after the last few windows and the shambles that is our recruitment and scouting set up. Club have burnt through the goodwill amassed during Ange's spell.

But it is very very early yet. Window isn't officially opened. Brendan spoke about looking after each other cause we're one big family. Time for the corporate side to start looking after us best they can. Support the manager and squad adequately. Not just to be a small toe ahead of the huns.

Let's give it a few weeks yet.
