Better Call Saul

Another brilliant episode. I'm looking forward to every episode more and more each week.

After two runs throughs of Breaking Bad I never realised that Saul Goodman came from It's all good man :smiley-laughing002:

 

Watched the first two last night, enjoying it so far.

Will get another one in before the fitba.

 

Episode four was easily the best so far, absolutely brilliant.

 

20 episodes?

I know it's been confirmed for another season but is that been said is all? Thought with it's popularity there's no reason it couldn't run for 3 or 4. It's set in what, 2002 i think? 7/8 years worth of material before the beginning of breaking bad.

Reckon we'll see how Mike hooks up with Gus (if he hasn't already) Gus's rise and all the Cartel stuff that comes with that. Sure there was rumours Jesse was involved so here's hoping his back story into chilli p meth inc badger & skinny Pete.

Don't think i rate it as highly as others, yet. Anything remotely close to planet bb is gettin ma approval. And BTW, Mrs.Kettleman

 

Watched all eps so far today. Love it, liking it more than BB.

 

absolutely genus show , roll on tomorrow .

At the end of breaking bad when he runs away with his new identity he says something along the lines of " i'll be hiding out , working is some cinnabun in nebraska " .....He was working in a Cinnabun in the opening sequence of better call saul ( in black and white ) ...so take it that was him post breaking bad ?? The timeline is the only thing confusing me ...its jumping around a bit too much

 

Is it new episodes on Tuesdays ? Thought it was out today

 

Yeh that was him post breaking bad. It happened a lot in BB where they would begin the episode or season with what happens at the end and then show you the build up to it throughout the episode.

I've just watched the most recent episode. It was class again, I can't wait to see what happens with Mike.

Mike is one of my favourite characters so it was really good to see some of his back story.

Another fantastic episode.

Great episode, Mike is a great character.

 

For me it's been slow, although guess to get some background stuff on characters it'll have to be.

It's been good viewing though, although nothing like BB...............so far.

 

I found it funny how someone in this thread said Breaking Bad started slow:smiley-laughing002: The first four episodes started fast, the very first scene kicks of with a middle aged man standing in his tightly whities with a gun in his hand in the middle of the desert, next to a camper van apologising into a camera to his family. That pulled me right in straight away. In the first episode alone we find out Walt gets cancer, him and hank go on a bust, Walt and Jessie meet and decide to go into business. Then the next few episodes is the two guys Jesse and Walt have locked up in Jesse basement and them dealing with it.

then it got slow after that before picking up again near end of season one.



BCS has started superb as well though, thoroughly enjoying it. Been some really great episodes already.

 

I'm the exact same.

Thought the first few episodes were far too boring, gave up after 4 or 5 episodes like yourself.

Better Call Saul has been great so far, the latest episode is the best. It's just getting better and better every week. Delighted that Mike's more involved now, he's a fantastic character.

 

The first few episodes may have been boring to you for what ever reason, but the story was certainly not slow as you said a few pages back. First 4 episodes of BB were fast.

For me though my favourite tv show that's started the best would be Prison Break. Best first season of any tv show IMO.
