Best Wide player

    If Mcgeady got injured (inherited player) who would you be happy to see (a WGS signing) as a replacement.?

    Be honest now as for me nobody stands out.

    The point of them is the only quality WGS has bought is a couple of forwards and a Goalie. The rest are inherited players,failures or at best average players. It seems everyone kind of agrees. So I was wondering why we all continue to argue with each other for example if a player like a Caldwell or a Killen is good enough or not as we all know they are not and we should all unite to want better and not accept mediocracy.

    The inherited signing only became the player he is today by being under Strachans leadership. He's added a defensive element as well as a final product, not completely down to Strachan i'll admit but he's been the impetus.

    What i was getting at is not so long ago Naka would have romped that poll, he's been injured and lost form McGeady has taken his creative mantle and he's playing out his skin but it can swing round again. In Naka's case i hope it does and we have both sides of our midfield as dangerous as each other!

    best winger, mcgeady. do we only play with one winger? no.
    best cb- mick. do we only play with one cb? no.
    best fullback, was voted hinkel, he bought him did he not?
    why's there not one for best goalie?
    mcdonald was voted best striker, followed by jvoh, who signed them?

    I agree naka would definatley have got more votes and I did say he was a good and succesful signing. However he is prodominantly used as a right sided player. You still have not identified a replacement if Aiden got injured that you would be happy with. OK if Naka filled the position then who ould fill Nakas

    Ok then who has WGS bought that is good enough for this position Pressley,Virgo,Caldwell or a Du wei perhaps.?

    2 games dosent make you a successful signing a bit of a sad inditement that we are voting for someone who has been at the club for 2 minutes in the hope he might be a player than to vote for an established FB

    Goalie ffs do you honestly think anybody but Boruc would get a vote.I already said WGS deserves credit for signing a fine goalie and a few forwards not a good record though in the grand scheme of things

    I already said decent forwards.However why would WGS think Skippy would be good enough for Celtic if he thought he wasnt good enough for southampton,Good job he did though as we would be right in the * without him.Even WGS has said he is suprised at how well he has done.Dosent exactly fill you with confidence does it.

    Larsson wasn't good enough for Feyenoord, Lubo wasn't good enough for Duisburg, Sutton wasn't good enough for Chelsea, Hartson wasn't good enough for the manky mob etc etc etc. That argument doesn't wash at all with me, it's a non starter. McDonald has proven he is more than good enough for us and his goal tally is phenomonal.

    We are identifying 3 or four players who have been a success .Skippy,JVOH,NAKA and Boruc. It is a team game and WGS has bought almost 30 players these four aside we are picking out players as the best we have got that he inherited. Is this not a valid point that only 4 players maybe 5 that he has bought are being quoted as a success.

    I made these polls to try and unite us as we all agree we have to many mediocre players not my fault or yours just a fact. Be it a Caldwell,Naylor or a Wilson as the players that have come in for criticism lately.It is just silly to be at each others throats if we are all of the same opinion that we have to many mediocre players.Why cant we just be honest and agree with each other instead of arguing and berating each other when it is obvious we are of the same opinion.

    Easy decision given how much he has developed this season to give McGeady the nod. He has been our best player so far this season for me. I give McGeady a 9.
