Still haven't got round to watching those two. I'm worried that those two will never compare to Breaking Bad. I suppose it's because they're always mentioned as the three best ever, that I will end up comparing them rather than just enjoying them in their own right.
Breaking Bad had it all, excitement, character development, family drama, the cinematography of a western, amazing soundtrack, black comedy.
It's unheard of for a show that had as many twists and turns as it did to stay grounded. It didn't have characters do mad (you could say "out of character" things for the sake of plot development. It wasn't as realistic as The Wire and it never tried to be, it was much more cinematic. But never ridiculous (like Prison Break).

Aye they could leave that offscreen haha. Just loved his character.

Aye it was a great show. I watched through the first 3 seasons again, still tense as * even though i know what's gonna happen :smiley-laughing002:. Think that's why i kept watching even though it went downhill. So many good characters. Even started to like big Brad Belleck and Mahone.

I've been through the Sopranos 3 times now. You really do miss a lot of the plot on the first go, so many names flying about its hard to keep up. After the second and now third run through you know who is in whose crew and why * are getting whacked.

It really is the tightest show ever made, seamless.

Been through it twice, you do miss a lot the first time round.

I'm on my 3rd time watching through House, can never get bored of it.

They're both excellent in their own right. I doubt you'd end up comparing them to Breaking Bad. You'd be too busy concentrating on the programme itself.

I probably prefer The Wire to The Sopranos if I'm honest. Both are easily two of the best tv shows I've ever seen though.

Finished The Shield couple of days ago. All 7 seasons were great. Very consistent. It had the second best ending to a tv show for me, only second to Breaking Bad. Will miss this show and will definitely watch it again one day.

    Season 5 & 7 were excellent tv.

Currently watching a tv show that just started few weeks back called Resurrection. It's based on a book called The Returned. About a 7 year old boy that dies only to come back to life 30 years later. Weird and mysteries programme. Only been 7 episodes so far and the final episode of season 1 is on tonight.

I've been watching Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, but Sons of Anarchy blows them out the water. By far the best I've seen.

Did anybody watch Firefly? Brilliant Sci Fi show but only lasted one season, they brought out a film called Serenity to finish it off.

Aye mate, brilliant so far. It's based on a book called the same thing which you'll probably already know, although a haven't read it. The only reason a heard of this programme was because a was watching another program called Resurrection that was also based on that book and someone mentioned this to me. Resurrection was good but this is so far much better.

Never seen it myself but my mate said its one of the best tv shows he's ever seen. A have been meaning to watch Firefly and Battlestar Galactica for a while a do enjoy some Sci Fi * and both have excellent's reviews.
