Best TV Series you have ever seen?

True Detective.

Right now the missus has me watching Devious Maids. Some real stunners on that show!

 

Have to see the pacific aswell, been in this crazy ww2 phase just watching all the stuff I can. Think this is the best depiction of world war 2.


Tells the story from the german side. Really controversial stuff.

The character performance by tom schilling is one of the best ive seen.

 

The Walking Dead for me. But I'm watching Breaking Bad at the moment and wow it's some show.

Started watching Suits last week and I'm currently on Season 3 episode 7. I think that says it all :smiley-laughing002:. Class show. Didn't particularly enjoy season 1 but 2 and 3 have been class.

 

Last night I finished Breaking Bad. Fantastic series I'm glad I got round to watching it. Posted in the BB thread probably ranks second best I've seen just behind The Sopranos.

 

Think it was in this thread that someone recommended "Persons of Interest". Halfway through Series 1 and thoroughly enjoying it.

 

Started watching Heroes, about 6 episodes in really good stuff so far.

 

Stop at the end of season 1 and you'll think it's brilliant

 

Starting to really get into Sons of Anarchy.. It's class

 

Aye a read a few reviews about how Heroes gets poor after the first season, as if the writers lost there way. I only have two episodes left of the first season and it's been brilliant so far.

I'll stick with it of course and see how it turns out, as I know loads of people that thought both Lost and Prison Break got * after the first few seasons, where as a loved both and every season

Can't praise this show enough, every season a thought has been class so far. If it can have strong last season if could take over Breaking Bad as my favourite tv show.

 

I thought Lost was still pretty good up until the last season which was *. The last season of Prison Break was pretty poor, 2 and 3 were still quite good, just not as good as season 1.

Heroes is still pretty decent up to the last season if I recall. Maybe the back end of season 3 is quite poor as well. But by the end of it it's * dreadful. I would have stopped watching it even if it wasn't cancelled tbh.

You should watch Californication if you haven't. Everyone should, that's a class programme.

Although still have season 3 of Boardwalk Empire to watch. All Desperate Housewives as I only watched one season in the middle and thought it was really good. Only watched the first two seasons of The Shield, not watched OZ at all yet and seen the rest.

Have the three seasons of Game Of Thrones but those are copies.

Tonight I bought all 5 seasons of The Wire. Got it of Gumtree brand new condition for only £15 which after pricing it up seems like an absolute bargain to me

 

The Wire is excellent

Going by those shows you would also love Banshee, The Following, and American Horror Story, they're all buzzing

 

Aye some of my mates who have seen The Wire have said it is excellent. The American Horror Story is one I have wanted to see for a while, looks good.

 

Whats Game of Thrones like? I've never seen it advertised on the telly is it a DVD only thing?

 

Its a really good show mate, i think its only on Sky atlantic

 

It's incredible mate. A started watching it two weeks ago and have nearly watched all 3 seasons.

It's on tv, the 4th season stars back on 6th of April on HBO. Watch the first couple of episodes and see what you think of it

 

Is HBO on Virgin mate? I might give it a try.
