Not quite....but with the right investments and a bit of luck it could be.

The MON era was hard to beat, with Henrik and Seville and beating a very good oldco Rangers team regularly together with Liverpool etc

But if Brendan can continue to improve the team and the board support him - another big European run beckons and then we can say yes to the question.

I think the Martin ONeil era was the best in my lifetime. It's partly because I was an the age I lived and breathed football, partly because the transformation for a decade earlier was so stark, and partly because it had the closest competition with Rangers for dominance.

Domestic competition was exciting because Celtic and Rangers were both capable of battering the other on their day, we had final day title play offs, and even other SPL clubs were capable of the odd win against us. In Europe, the EPL hadn't yet ruined Euroean competition and we could still legitimately compete.

Absolute dominance is fun, and we are still at the point of toppling long standing records and watching huns melt down about it. But I think there must be a point at which even celtic fans will start to yearn for those 95-05 years when every game was so important and winning trophies felt like a massive occasion.

    With regards to dominance, yes.

It’s reached the point at which the fanbase has become so spoiled by success that it’s a catastrophe if we’re not winning a game at half time. That I don’t like so much.
