Lunch is dinner without king prawns, steak and mushrooms, satay sticks and the chocolate fountain for the weans.

There is still a ridiculous amount of selections though.

Drinks are expensive but water is free. Just order water or even get one drink and then stick to water afterwards. You will need the fluid mate, it's either spicy or salty.

Was in Paesano the other week, Pizza place just off George Square (Miller St)

7 quid a pizza and they are excellent. Nothing too fancy about them, just good chilled out eating. Revolving door as well, owner is a jammy *.

For Indian I think Chaakoo and Obsession of India are the 2 best I've been to. I quite like Opium for kinda asian fusion, Nanakusa does some good japanese. Places like 13th Note are good for a vegan meal. Burgers etc I like Bread Meats Bread. Bloc is pretty good for grub too. I remember going to Bibi's in Partick and that was terrific Mexican food, I dont know if it's still open tho

Is 13th note only vegan or does it do meat stuff as well?

    Wrong :40:

I'm pretty sure it's vegan only. Although maybe vegetarian too. Definitely no meat.

zizzi (Italian) in princess sqare, Glasgow.
had an amazing chicken and spinach calzone.
bottle of beer cost £7 though, well seeing I was half cut, paying that for some * fruity beer

The calzone won't taste as good when you aren't half cut either. Zizzi is just another average chain restaurant.

Some stuff is vegan and some is vegetarian. I love my steak and burgers etc but the food in there is actually really good, always happy to go there.

Finally got round to trying Hup Lee mate. Thought the food was excellent. It was about the same price as Cosmo but Cosmo give refills on juice. Good to have 2 good ones to go to now as would get bored going to the same one all the time

For me the best restaurant in Glasgow that I have visited is Guys, Candleriggs. No questions asked.

Recently I went to The Kelbourne Saint. They specialise in rotisserie chicken other birds. Best chicken dinner I've ever had. Also the chicken salt chips are a game changer!

For an Indian, I'm a massive fan of the Green Chili Cafe. I know it's part of the Ashoka chain but the lamb saag is out of this world.

I'll need to try that Cosmo, I like the sound of the refills on juice. We usually just get water with our meal and that's free but it gets a bit boring after a while.

You will like Cosmo mate :50: I drink cider so doesn't make a difference for me but does for the weeman & Mrs. Cosmo is more like world buffet but 100 times better.

I'll have to give the Indians in Glasgow another go next time I'm up as my previous experiences of them haven't been amazing.

Any recommendations in the city centre?

Went to The Spanish Butcher a couple of weekends ago. Pork belly was lovely but I think it's very over priced. Had heard rave reviews as well.

    Better places in Glasgow IMO.
