One time my family and I were all over and we ended up having lunch there. Shared a few bottles of wine and just decided to stay right through until dinner and have another meal :giggle1:

I've been in the Turban once before and thought it was a very good curry house.

Absolutely amazing food, the waiters carry big cuts of meat on a skewer and cut it for you in front of you, plus the buffet stuff is amazing

Owners are from Bradford unless it has all been franchised out. Years ago you could only pay by cash inbradford no tills , bottles , they could never get the bill right. Many a night you were quids in.

CAU steak house, you better remortgage your house before you go, and the portions could be a bit bigger given the price.

Hup Lee in Motherwell. Buffet dining that is the best I have ever tried, both in quality and selection.

It has roughly 40 hot dishes, salt and pepper ribs, sweet and sour ribs, chicken balls, chicken toast, chicken maryland, chilli chips, normal chips, this amazing salt and chilli chicken in batter that is like a deep fried *. Main meals like Beef and onion, steak and mushrooms, chicken terryaki, salt and pepper chow mein, singapore noodles, chicken fried rice, satay to name a few.

Deserts. Hot apple pie and custard, cheesecake, chocolate cake, black forrest gateaux, profiteroles, jelly, these outstanding swiss rolls that have the softest sponge I have ever tasted, 5 different kinds of ice cream and all the fresh fruit you can imagine.

Really nice decor inside and the place is packed from opening to closing, meaning there is always a quick turnover of the food, keeping it hot and fresh.

    Honestly, this place is amazing.

Remember if you go, mention me to the waiter so I pick up my commission... :fear:
