thats a hard one for me as in there era there was some skillfully players going about mcgrain was as good as we have had, never really improved since but Danny was only straight up and down but don't ask him to shoot . modern day defending must be easer that it was then, they all like to hold a high line yet will not come out and clear the ball from far out, to many where seem to f-anny about the box to much for my liken.

lot of people saying Elliot - very good shout, he really struggled when he first came. Just aswel our supporters were more loyal back then he'd never be given a chance now.

In recent times; Reiper was magnificent such a shame we only got a a year of him before the injury. His partnership with stubbsy was fantastic. Big rugged ball winner alongside the best passer of a ball in the country and two real genuine leaders.

Bobo was immense. He made 2 or 3 high profile mistakes and people hold that against him. Difference between him n those that have came in after him is Bobo made his mistakes against world class opposition (Porto/Lyon) not Aberdeen n Falkirk. People forget we wouldn't have even been in Seville if it hadn't of been for Bobo's performances en route. We got absolutely hammered in Vigo he was genuinley World Class that night. The last 10 minutes against Boavista after Henriks goal we all watched through the cracks of our fingers as Bobo won every header n got us thru.

Aberdeen wouldn't have scored once yesterday if Bobo was playing.

A great servent to our club who was treated shamefully by liewell n chesney. Bobo never forced them to pay him 30k a week yet he was punished for it

all time i'd say mcneil , in my time 1989-present i'd go for mjalby or bobo was also a fan of jackie mac he was great wee player for us

Its a close call between Virgo and Du Wei, You cant say they werent consistent, terrible but consistent none the less.
