Best Celtic striker in recent years

For me it was a toss up between BBJ and Sutton, but i went for Sutton because of the extra roles he offered the team and the fact he could defend from the front.

 

Well Best player for the club out of this lot without a shadow of a doubt was Sutton for me but the best striker out them I would have to go with Bellamy just lit up in his 6 month here so i went for him....

 

Scott McDonald to have scored 31 goals in toughest season Celtic has had for a number of years is brilliant. Big John and Chris Sutton were there and did very well but I do not think Rangers were as tough as they were this season. I would have loved to see Scott play alongside either John or Chris!

 

Has to be Sutty..... he did everything, everywhere. True proffessional willing to play in any postion, do any job. BBJ was a close 2nd due to his now controversial "us" and "we" comments on Setanta sports!

 

I chose big john, his all round play was superb and he banged a helluva lot of goals for us! Sutty, JVOH, Bellamy(loved this guy), Skippy and Magic have all done a fantastic job for the club BBJ just edged it.

 

I would have picked Sutton but i feel he was part of Larsson and didn't think it was fair as they were probably the best partnership ever in scotland so i decided to go with big jan as he is 1 of my favourite players and i think he gives so much to the team because of his leadership skills and he wins 9/10 balls in the air and also he is a proven goalscorer

sutton because he was amazing scored vital goals scored on his old firm debut just never understood why he didnt get a game for the english if there was a player who deserved it it was sutton .... and big alan thompson he shoulda got games for them to miss these 2 players

id have to say hartson, although sutton was class too, if skippy can follow this years performance with more like this, hed be up there, and i think jan is exremely underrated by alot of posters here

The guy was some player.. and a great signing by MON.

His goal against juventus in the champions league with the left peg volley what a peach of a goal!!

 

I voted for Scott McDonald! Just purely because of the amount of goals he scored in his first season here was brilliant!
