    I chose big John Hartson simply because he was class at putting the ball in the net, but Chris Sutton was amazing as well but he didn't score as many as Hartson.

    sutton actually played quite a few games at CB and CM when needed. their scoring records are quite similar. BBJ also played more games. hard to chose between them, both brilliant players for celtic although sutton just shades it for me

    Larsson said that Sutton was the best player he has played with. Good enough for me. His screamer against Juve was something else. BBJ put the ball in the net and played with as much heart as anyone I've seen in a Celtic shirt, but Sutton was more intelligent, scoring goals and creating them. I'd like to know how many games were played with the Larsson/Sutton partnership, where no goals were scored. I reckon you could count them on one hand. I really miss watching those guys in action. They were easily as exciting as the Hoojidonk/Cadete/Di Canio period and they didn't patronise the fans by running around kissing the badge. Playing for Celtic meant more to them than a big paycheck.

    got 2 be sutton he wiz clever as * and made most of larssons goals for him also played in defence and midfield were he wiz emense,, definently martin oneil,s best signing, infact a wid go as far as saying he wiz oor best signing since henrik!!

    I think BBJ is better as a striker... but then Sutton did play midfield and defense. He'd probably have played in goal given half a chance.

    Couldn't agree more ellboy. I don't particularly like these poll things but for me Sutton contributed much more than goals. If it wasn't for injury that kept him out for a few months he could have been player of the year in his 2nd last season.
    Also as someone else said I think Henrik played better and preferred Sutton alongside him than Big John.:shamrock:
