He was showing a bit of form towards the end of last season.

 

Didn't get much of a say tonight. HOWEVER, his missus is a wee babe.

 

Ye canny ignore him forever Ronny.

 

I think he's been excellent whenever he's had a chance this season. Tonight was no exception. Looks fit and has got back that burst of speed that made him a dominant force in there.

Also went into a full blooded challenge as soon as he came on. Think he's been * it a bit since McCulloch injured him.

 

Brilliant again when he came on, instant impact..

Closing, driving, pace and quality..

Get this guy in our starting 11 regular..

 

Really needs to start games.

He has been brilliant since pre season, him and Matthews were setting up Pukki at will and then they all got dropped or injured.

He will be in the team sooner rather than later.

 

Made a real difference when he came on.

 

Should be starting ahead of Johansen

 

It's a mystery on this form why he's not starting especially when he ticks all ronnys boxes, high tempo and pressing..

i agree , ive been very critical of Kayal but he has looked pretty good so far and think he should be starting ahead of Johansen

 

Unfortunately i don't think Ronny will be dropping Johansen anytime soon. Kayal has been miles better than him - on a par with Brown in my opinion in terms of performance and spirit this season.

Shame when he is playing at such a high standard he is being ignored or playing a bit part. Maybe he's trying so hard in order to put himself in the shop window.
Brown & Kayal > Biton & Johansen.

There is nothing to Johansens game that is not in Kayal's locker as well.

 

He should be in the team next game ahead of johanson. His effort shouldn't be ignored and if he comes to be be playing as good as he was 3 years ago we them have a player on out hands.

 

He should be in before any of the other midfielders, he offers far more for me.

 

best midfeilder at the club , seriously wasted on the bench . I think Wanyama played the kind of game Kayal likes too and so kayals form suffered when wanyama was in the side as he was a little lost in that team . But this current Celtic team is crying out for him to start games and drive the side forward.

 

Kayal lost his place years ago here through injury not because of Wanyama. And never recovered that form. Kayal before that first serious injury was an outstanding player.

He's been great this year should be in ahead oh Johansen.
