Giving Bain a 3 year deal while this guy can’t get near the team, baffling.

Could be he was promised more game time to re-sign. No idea why you'd give him it but can't think why else he'd be getting time ahead of the guy we bought to play ahead of him.

Imagine he'll be away in the summer if he can't even get games at this point, pretty pointless signing in the end.

Can only be because of the home grown quota for Europe.

Was surprised with his subs bench appearance in the cup final tbh.

Was on subs bench against Aberdeen too. I'm more suprised at what Ange was playing at dropping him from the bench in the build up and playing Bain against Hibs. No logic in playing Bain when we have a quality no2. Can only assume Ange was trying to make some bullshit point.

Think he will be looking for a move, too good not to play.

New manager may prefer him over Hart from the start. Doubt he'll be looking to move now when it's probably the best chance he's had to break into the side, assuming we don't immediately buy a new keeper.

Just rumours of course, but seemingly the Bain renewal wasn't Ange's idea at all.

Would explain the sudden drop for the last couple games.

Previously did we not hear rumours there had been a fallout with Ange and Seigrist? Which would explain his drop originally. But then back in to prove a point to the men who signed Bain on a 3 year deal.

That Bain stuff just seems like fans putting 2+2 together. Truth is it's a pretty harmless resigning and helps with homegrown quota. Ange had Bain on the bench over Siegrist since start of the year and was working his ticket to get outbof Celtic long before we resigned him.

Ben had an injury and maybe Ange wasn't happy with what he was seeing in terms of effort in training to come back from the injury. Who knows.

    Bain is absolutely dug meat.

Hart is done as well if we're being honest, either sign a new keeper or give Siegrist a chance.

With Hart in decline, suspect he will see an opportunity to establish himself as out No 1 keeper now new manager in the house.

Siegrist won't be good enough for us as a number 1. He was always signed as backup.

Anyone know what the story is with him? Is he gonna get a chance or are we gonna be looking for a new gk. Even though I love hart you can see his performances getting weaker and we will need an upgrade. Scott Bain is now where near good enough and I haven’t seen enough of siegrist but anytime I have seen him I’ve liked the look of him

With regards to Bain, he's here for one reason only and it's the European quota.

Any football manager players will know how much of a baw ache it is.

Siegrist evidently a better keeper. But we need better than all 3 we currently have.

CELTIC back-up goalkeeper Benjamin Siegrist has conceded his future lies away from Parkhead.

Indeed, the loved-up stopper is planning to move to AUSTRALIA, he has revealed.

Siegrist found romance on the club's Sydney Super Cup trip Down Under last year - and met partner Brittany Hockley through an online dating app.

The double-act were hailed as the 'world's hottest couple' as they spent some rare time together this summer.

Now the goalkeeper is planning an Oz move despite still having two years to run on his Hoops contract.

He opened up during a photo-shoot with his celeb Wag over life and loveand hinted he was ready to move closer after six months of a long-distance relationship.

Hockley is a media personality down under and has starred on TV in The Batchelor as well as hosting a successful podcast and radio show.

And the power couple could soon be closer together - but Siegrist still has Hoops commitments.

He signed a three-year deal last summer as Joe Hart's understudy and only managed a couple of appearances in an injury-ravaged season.

But off the field was full of much more personal success than on it for the treble-winning sub.

Away from his team-mates he reckons he's found the perfect soul-mate and is looking forward to getting together.

He told Stellar magazine: "I’m a very private person and like keeping to myself, but me wanting to open up to Britt was a sign.

“She listens and she makes me laugh so much.

“She’s so kind and always wants to help people and lift other people up. She really is the full package. I didn’t know what the future held, but I wanted it to be with her.

"And we will work out everything from now until the day I’ll probably move to Australia.”

He hasn't had much chance to impress the Hoops fans since signing from Dundee United - but they were wowed by his glam Wag's appearance at a game last season.

He laughed: “Leaving the stadium after the game, one of the fans said, ‘How the * did you get her?’ [It’s] is a huge compliment in football.”

Hockley and Siegrist are regularly pictured together on social media as they document their relationship and the Aussie star even sampled the Old Firm match as one of the couple's first dates when she travelled over to Scotland earlier this year.

He'll be a little closer to Oz again later this summer after spending time on holiday with Hockley.

    * is a private person and starts going with someone who is the absolute definition of the opposite of that. Let him go and get him off the wage bill.
