    Why did celtic and lenny state publicly that we interested and then bellamy says this. Surley youd of thought celtic had sounded out bellamy and got his thoughts on joining before going public.Its made us look a little bit silly.

    Well, there is a chance.

    But it would mean City doing the same as they did with Cardiff last season.

    Bellamy obviously thinks City are * mental now, cos they let him go home last season - while still paying him a King's ransom.

    Maybe Lenny thought the same, or that cos DD was playing golf.

    I don't think Lenny ever tried to con the fans, he just basically said - if Man City are stupid enough to pay him £60k per week to play for Celtic, then I'd take him.

    Lenny always said it would be down to finances & so did Bellamy.

    It was always in City's court...Mancini threw the pigeon to the cats, by directly speaking about Celtic - but again that was in a footballing sense, not a financial one.

    I don't see the problem, it was always a bullshit story - unless Man City are * mental - but they showed last season that they are (with Bellamy at Cardiff).

    Think bellamy is just trying to work his own ticket here.There is no quoets on sky sports just that sky sources say bellamy has no intentions of going to celtic or any other club for that matter,he wants to concentrate on his man city career.Everyone knows he has no future at man city and he will be going to another club before end of august because he wont be in city's 25 man squad.Looks to me like he wants city to pay up last year of his contract and release him so he can go where he wants on a free.
    p.s doubt very much he will be going to cardiff they have already signed earnshaw miller and some french striker and they dont have loads of money to splash about.

    Really surprised he's apparently happy to stay and concentrate on his future with City, especially when they are splashing the cash on top quality players like Aguero etc. Bellars doesn't stand a chance of breaking into the first team and holding down a place.

    Ok apparently Bellamy's goal this year is to lead the EPL Reserve league in goals :97:

    We need to focus on other targets and forget about him..

    I'm not a great fan of loan signings personally, after all how can you build a team with loan players when they generally there for one season. I much prefer to seek out players like Kayal and Izzy.

    The young las playing last night for the Irish league called Kerns caugh my eye, I would much prefer to take him on trial then buy him if he performs over a week or so.
