Beers that you don't see anymore

loved cans of miller, now they only sell them wee tiny 250ml bottles, pish.

 

A couple of these bad boys back in the day and I was fooked!

I've not seen it for a while. I don't remember it being only 4.8% alcohol either.

It was always known to be the lager for rougher drinkers.

 

aye I thought it was 7-8 % as they proclaim it as a "strong lager" on the can.

 

This is the beer I want for my collection.



I've only even seen one and not sure I would manage to dig deep enough.

 

That stuff's still on the go. My mum always has a can or two of it in the hoose.

 

I've never actually tasted it, I just remember the can because my Mum used to run a bar and I always asked why that brand had a wummin on the tin.

My da seen me with it before and said what the * you doing wi that, he hadnt seen it in years and said his granny and old people used to drink it as if it was a medicine

I dont think ive ever seen anyone else drinking it, just bought it as I get guinness a lot and its one of the only other stouts they sell in supermarkets.

 

Never seen it here, but bizarrely saw it in Malta last year

 

If this was anything like the XXXX available today it would have been rubbish.

Now that I live in Aus, Fosters.

Weird how it's promoted as the quintessential Aussie beer at home yet nocunt sells it here never mind drinks it.
