Anyone got a link to the foul on Maeda in the build up?

 

Gutted and want to see what happened to Maeda off the ball up the other end that started that move. It’s not like him to go down for no reason.

Kuhn going off was a blow as we kind of lost that threat on the counter. We had massive chances first half and really should have taken some of those but the main feeling is pride just now as well as frustration.

That was a chance to beat a top side over two legs and we were properly competitive. Also massive credit to Rodgers he made big calls and they paid off for him.

Game changed when Kuhn went off and Yang on… could just see the balance of the team changed. To be clear I don’t really mind Yang as a squad player but he was a rabbit caught in the headlights, the difference in these squads is always going to be strength in depth off the bench.

 

That was a definte foul and possibly a red card, but there was no way any ref was sending a bayern player off that late in the games, they would have been roasted..

If nothing else - hopefully its an important result in convincing the board that its a team worth investing in and that theres a higher ceiling in it. Hopefully it convinces Rodgers to consider staying longer. And hopefully gives the players a confidence boost and maybe convinces one or two that may be looking to move on thats its worth staying on.
