If Idah were to start, I doubt BR would have kept him on the pitch for 85 mins today. Maeda-Kuhn were benched. Jota was replaced early in the second half. I bet that's the starting front 3 on Tuesday.

Flying over on Monday for this. Can’t wait, first European away since Copenhagen in 2020.

We’re a goal behind but we should be going over there aiming to stay in the tie for as long as possible. We have pace and quality that can hurt them and if the game stays at 0-0 some anxiety is bound to creep into their game. That’s when the chances will come.

If we concede an early one then it’s going to be a long night.

I'd just love us to go over there and bag the first goal somehow..

Give them a fright, even a tiny one..

We'll likely get scudded but there was so many positives from the Wednesday game. Despite their domination, we had them spooked at times. If only that early goal counted. If only on another day we had a ref who gives the penalty. Had quite a few chances to equalise and really had them hanging on..

Maeda through the middle and Schlupp at left back are absolute musts for me..

Just go out there and give it everything..

They’re taking us serious anyway with resting players against against leverkusen… and so they should. We’re the famous Glasgow Celtic and we’re off to Germany

Jota has scored twice in Germany against Leipzig and Leverkusen, he also has a goal in the Bernebeu, if he can score there, he can score in the Allianz

Also scored twice against Bayern Munich U19s when he was a Benfica youth player

Jota should definitely be starting, loves a goal away from home in Europe, especially in Germany

Idah didn't do enough against Bayern tbh, worked hard but didn't trouble their defenders at all, he basically cost us going 1-0 up by deciding to move in front of the Bayern defender before Kuhn shot and then at the Kane goal, for some reason, despite being one of our biggest and strongest players, instead of marking someone like Harry Kane in the box, he's on the goal line, his size and strength was needed elsewhere, someone like Taylor should have been on the line instead, that should have been a basic common sense communication Idah was able to make between himself and Taylor

Think we do the exactly the same as the Atalanta game sit deep for a hour and then the last 30 minutes just go for it if it's still 0-0 at that time and maybe scoring first might give them a scare

I would also play Jota and Maeda over Idah. I felt the occasion was too big for him and he fell back into bad habits. Would prefer to see him continue to progress in the league and play our record European goalscorer up front.

We are training it up in the afternoon. We will either venture to Mariaplatz, or theres an Irish bar "Kennedys" just south of there. Both are on the U Bahn U6 which then takes you directly north to the stadium.

Kennedys is outside Sedling Tor on U6. Was heaving with the Tartan Army during the Euros. You can then take a leisurely ten minute walk up to Mariaplatz.

Im sure you wont need to worry, as youll just be following everyone else, but Frottmanning is the station for the Allianz.

For anyone wanting a quieter time, there plenty of bars, and a cracking BrauHOF, Bachmaeir just north of the Giedlastrase UB Bahn, again all on the U6 . Traditional Bavarian food Youll know your going in the right direction as theres a huge white statue "The Walking Man" outside Munich RE offices.

The turnstiles at the Allianz are the same for everyone entering the stadium. You then just walk round to your area. Theres no security checking of tickets once your in, other than getting into the dedicated away fans section , for obvious reasons.

They will go for the early goal to kill it off. I can see us scoring but not sure if it will be enough to overturn the tie.

The way to look at it is regardless of what the score was in the 1st leg.....we were always going to need a massive performance in Munich.

It can happen. It is possible. We need Bayern to be at least slightly off the boil and for us to put in the performance of the season.

You get the impression that it hinges on how Bayern play. In Scotland it does not matter who the opposition is....if we play to our capabilities then we win. I see this as the same scenario but the opposite way around......if Bayern hit top form, then regardless of how well we play..they will win. To have a realistic chance we need them to not play to their capabilities...and we also need to play out our skin

My official prediction we lead 3-2 on the night and it goes into extra time…….

If I am wrong we lead 4-2 and the final whistle goes:biggrin:

He will. He didn't start yesterday and as long as there's a chance he signs, Rodgers will give him the big games.
