Looks class. Need something similar at Lennox town now.

Fantastic infrastructure we're getting together for all the various Celtic teams. Facilities that the rest of Scottish football could only dream about.

Likely, but I'm not sure they will. Throughout this they've been at pains to say this is for the ladies and the youngsters.

Next on the list should be the stadium.

Havent been in 2 years but last time i was there it was in dire need of a paint job and a powerhose.

Is the piping around the stadium structural? If not, get shot. If so, * get it sorted. Eyesore.

New barrowfield obviously takes precedence, as does Lennoxtown, but surely theres a to do list somewhere

Stadium redevelopment is a serious issue for us that we need to address. Really the whole main stand needs to be redone and expanded IMHO. We certainly have some funds ourselves but could we maybe find a stadium sponsor that could offset the costs involved in redeveloping/expanding the main stand.

Easily sign a ten year deal at 5m per year to help find half the build the rest you could do a share issue loans and investment it really should be a priority tbh so we don’t fall behind bring close to 50m a season on gate money another 10 to 15 k would boost that number …. Lawell knows this he’s the one that said Celtic has to think of ways to grow despite the constraints of our tv contract … well theirs one answer expand the stadium

I’m less concerned with the main stand redevelopment than I am the general state of the stadium. There’s concrete literally crumbling in some of the stairwells, the facilities are a disgrace and the toilets are full of mould. I’d sooner spend money on redoing the concourses and improving facilities first.

But the club seemingly can’t even be arsed giving the stadium a coat of paint, so I won’t hold my breath.

Off topic and not strictly our responsibility, but I wish the club would show some initiative about sorting the amount of litter in the area around the stadium. It’s disgusting.

Whenever I come up the road my aunt is always losing her * about littering. Don't get me wrong, where I live down here isn't the tidiest but when I come up to visit her the sheer amount of litter even along the side of rural roads is crazy. Seems to be really bad up there.

    * me! Do a deal with GCC to split the cost, and hire about a dozen people for 2-3hrs to get it cleared up afterwards... Total cost of about £300-400, split 50:50... It's not rocket science!

Edit: not you, obviously... The club I mean! :56:

I’d take a guess and say they are wanting to do a full stadium reno in next 5 years with the cash we are stockpiling.

Imagine the main stand would be first, though at this stage it may be cheaper to build a new stadium. Shouldn’t have restricted views this day and age. We could definitely do with a 70K seater considering the ST waiting list.

Not sure it'd be cheaper, but it would definitely be cleaner and easier I'd imagine, and far more future-proofed

They could do what real and Barca have done takeaway the roof and rebuild structure to cope and takeaway the restricted views save us having to knock down the stands

Long term I would say so, having to relocate to Hampden for a year or more but obviously would depend on what plans the club would want to do.

As well being able to build better infrastructure around the stadium, nightmare for parking & train just now. At some point we will require a new stadium.

Both I should think... Councils everywhere have pulled away from the bins services in recent years... Especially in places where they've gone private (in Ireland it's * grim now, and you could walk for miles with drinks bottles and cans in your hands before finding one, I know from experience!).

Then there's a general social habit of not giving a * anymore, coupled with nobody pulling up anyone else for it for years... When I was a kid random folk would give you a bollocking for dropping rubbish... Now you could dump an entire bin over and nobody's gonna even make eye contact for fear of aggro
