Honestly... the quicker this game is by, the better. After the 6-1 last time, this game gives me the fear.

 

Barca are worried about Tues. Rested Messi.Suarez,Iniesta. They are fearing the Bhoys!!

 

Whatever will be will be mate.

Barca have dismantled much better teams than us.

For what it's worth I don't think we will get turned over, we are far too confident right now.

It's a massive compliment to our team and of course Brendan that they did decide to rest a few players, our reputation has enhanced very quickly these past couple of months. This time last year had we got into the CL and faced Barca I doubt they'd have done the same, especially this early in the La Liga season.

 

When the draw was made I thought it'd end up an absolute hammering, it was perhaps due to the performance in Israel. Now though I'm thinking if Alaves can beat Barca at the Nou Camp surely we can produce a respectable performance that sees us at least competitive in the game even if we go on to lose. And the end of the day this Barca side are from flawless all over the pitch, of course we'll have to play exceptionally well but with the way we're playing at the moment we should be going into this game and really going for it without fear. I don't mean all out attack, I just mean when we do get our moments to attack them to not show any fear and show that we want to get something from this game. Even if we do get thoroughly outclassed, I'm still really looking forward to this.

 

Just hoping for a decent performance. Not like the last few years where we sat back and * ourselves in big euro games. We have a manager now who has a game plan.
Go out and enjoy it lads. Keep it tight as possible and try like * to get a shot or 2 on target. We are pretty quick going forward these days and we will get the odd chance. * it, 1-0 Celtic hahaha

I think Alaves winning makes it even more difficult for us. They're going to get ripped by the media and will be even more determined to put up a show.

Probably, just think going so negative at the back isn't the way. Harsh on Lustig but we're gonna need pace on either side in defence and he doesn't provide that as opposed to Gamboa.

Would love a draw as a slightly realistic possibility but even a narrow 2-0, 3-1 defeat would be respectable.

 

If we play to our best we can get something out of this game

 

Alaevs have only went and * them off, great.

Will be shocked if we get anything from this game, a respectable performance from the team will be suffice.

Getting the fear after the 6-1 game a few years ago, no shame in losing to Barca though they destroy much better teams than us often.
