Bring Rogic on for Gamboa

 

Some really encouraging signs. Going forward we don't look out of place with Sinclair showing his class. I really think Gamboa was a bad pick. It's as if they've targeted him from the start. Not played since Feb so don't get it. First time I've felt he's made a mistake. All in all delighted so far.

 

We're about to see one of our most unlikely comebacks ever. 2-2, Dembele to get another go at a penalty and convert and Toure to header in the equaliser in the 88th minute

 

I think we've done well with the ball when we've had it. Scott Brown has been good.

 

To be fair there is clear progress at our end no doubt about that but in a game against a team like this you just have to sit back and admire and take what lessons you can from it, they are a special team with very special players and I reckon its a joy just to be in the Nou Camp on the same pitch as them lets just hope we can make Paradise a fortress and scrape through in third.

 

The defence is all over the place.

We've still shown a few good flashes, missed a penalty and Brown was chopped when we were in a good position.

Dembele has looked good other than the bad penalty.

Don't know what some of you are expecting ffs! Think we have been okay at times. We are a far far better team than this time last year. Missed penalty and one rightly chalked off but they were still trying to defend it when Sinclair scored. Give them a break ffs

 

right im not picking on tierney but its an observation when he gets the ball in barcas half and he turns back why doesnt he pass sideways why does he always pass back

i know its a learning process but 3 or 4 times in that half we were in good positions on the and the ball found itself to tierney he should take a touch back and move it to the side to brown the few times i have seen it he doddles a bit and by that time its too late or he bottles the pass to brown...... it ends up going back to sviatchenko then back to goalie

the boys got a bit to learn, it is barcelona i know

och its the great competition of playing a team like barcelona it shows you where your players/team are weak

 

Ffs theyve had like 3 shots very unlucky. Celtic doing well

 

I stuck tenner on the big man to score anytime at 9/2. Big * that he is !

That was really poor, and to be honest I think our shape and approach to the game is all wrong. Only Broonie, Sinclair and Tierney have looked interested to my mind whilst Erik looks the only guy in defence where butter could not melt.

I'm not saying go gung ho but I'd like us to be a bit more adventurous and use more width in the second half and just go for it, plus it looks a game where introducing Rogic may do us a favour.

I'm amazed we have no forward on the bench.

 

Not impressed with Gamboa and De Vries. Poor ball retention and default have this problem to do the basic things.

Brown and Sinclair being good for us tonight.

Really disappointed in Moussa Dembele trying to do the "shutter" pen. Embarrassing.

 

Maybe we should go 4-4-2 nothing to lose now

 

Barca are just on another planet. A joy to watch. We have gave it a good go- missed a pen, goal disallowed for offside and only conceded 2 to tge best player to play the game. Sinclair is a brilliant player though hes my favourite player now.

 

I can't even see the gaps myself sometimes.

Usually when you watch Celtic you scream a lot at the telly or from the stands about a player in space (it's easier to see from the stands/TV than on the pitch) but there was times in the first half you don't even see the passes they make.

They play it so fast to each other as well because they trust each others first touch.

Its such a psychological barrier here . We dont have the confidence or belief to really get on the ball or win it back. A few being over roared.
