That fact that we are gutted as this shows we lost something there tonight, and it was that point. Our team deserve more plaudits than the barca players in my opinion.

Am keeping my head high as should every other tim and the players. Yes we were dominated but lots of teams are at the Nou Camp. Heroic defending at times.

Every player sweat blood and tears there. So proud. Lennon has built an excellent team from so little money compared to these teams in our group.

I trully believe we will grab 2nd place now. We dealt with so much pressure, Benfica and Spartik have no where near that class. We can get a draw at the very least in Benfica and beat Spartic at home.

Subs roughly 2 minutees, Wanyama was down for about a minute and then a minute added for all the other stoppages.

Don't be so hard on him mate, he was always going to be the least motm, when he was always going to be so isolated at times.

 

I think Messi maybe didn't play his best today but I think that could be because we maybe saw him as your main player so we tried to focus on closing him down a bit more than anyone else. In saying that, though, I think we defended really well against all your players and not just Messi.

If there's anything to criticise (if that's possible :icon_mrgreen about Barcelona it could be that they maybe just played about the box for too long looking for that perfect passbutthe way your team hold up the ball, pass it around wasting very little and just looking for that final ball is superb.

I wish we had that kind of skill :icon_mrgreen: but what our team may have lacked in skill tonight they definitely made up for - and more - in passion and heart.

From our point of view I hope the scoreline is reversed in two weeks time :icon_mrgreen:

M8 i did the exact same 2 month ago tore my ligaments and was out for 6 weeks very harsh will be surprised if he's not out for at least a month

Well i am absolutely gutted but i am proud, * the naysayers, * the people saying we would get pumped 5-0 * them because we just took Barca all the * way to the end!

Onwards and upwards, the atmosphere in two weeks at parkhead will be up there with the best ever, i can guarantee it. Proud to be a Celtic supporter, our bhoys gave it all.

It was a brave and courageous backs to the wall performance by the team, and we fully deserved a point, however football is a cruel game as we all know, but we will take great heart from that heroic display.

My calculus has always been, don't expect to take anything at Barcelona, look to take a point at home against them, beat Spartak at home, and draw with Benfica away, that is nine points and that should be enough. Nothing has changed, except we have more heart.
