Barcelona away trip

Flying from Glasgow to Majorca on Sunday then Majorca to Barcelona. Then going to Milan from Barcelona to see the family on wednesday. 3 of us going not booked digs yet any ideas appreciated.

 

You will only get them direct from the club and they will be oversubscribed pal.

My advice is dont bother as the away section is not worth being in, you wont see anything but a few ants, better to seek better tickets elsewhere in the ground and sit with them, there will be tims everywhere so that is seriously your best option.

Every fan who goes there says the same, never again in the away end! It sort of destroys the whole experience

 

Folk looking for accommodation, I've bee to Barca quite a bit and usually use diagonalflats.com

Really good apartment rental site, they all speak English and are really helpful (my flight was majorly delayed once and they met me at my apartment at 3am which was nice) worth a look if you fancy an apartment for your stay, usually quite cheap.

 

Going to Salou on the Sunday for 3 nights and booked a hotel room in Barcelona for the night of the game to save travelling back to Salou late at night and dare I say in a bad state haha

 

got flights out of aberdeen via frankfurt for £230 mon til thurs good times as well

 

we got a four star hotel for the same price as a hostel its a ten minute walk to the centre its called salles hotel pere iv if u want to take a look

 

I'v been to the Nou Camp a couple of times and easily managed to source
tickets .....
One thing i will say is, do not buy expensive tickets like one of my mates did as the polis/stewards just herd you all into the same section... and as already been mentioned you'll be up in the gods...

I can't make it this trip as i am booked to fly to Thailand on the 24th

 

you can get cheap 3 day holidays to Spain, and the train service into Barcelona is only 30min from most places.

 

How early would I need to go to the stadium on the day of the game to get a ticket?

 

Just booked a few tickets via de official Barca site ... cannot wait to get over there ...hope we'll have a big party at Placa Espanya as a few years ago !!

 

Flying with Ryanair from Charleroi? I am leaving on the day of the game and return on Wednesday morning.

 

Yep...leaving from Charleroi (flight from 10:50AM) and returning Wednesday with the last flight...8:20PM

 

Assume you know tickets can't be picked up with a British passport? Unless your in the Celtic end

Indeed ...Belgian Celtic Supporter. I noticed some sites mentionned that U can't get any tickets when U have a British passport. Did U tried the official Barcelona website ? Once U've picked U're tickets U have to 'continue without registered data' and then I know U have to fill in the info ...also the country (worked without any problem for me) ...did he gave U the message that U can't get any tickets ???

I am taking different flights (later on Tuesday and earlier on Wednesday).

 

Prices were quit interesting,no ? I pay 177 euro's for flight, ticket (middle ring behind one of the goals) and a night at hotel. Flight to El Prat ?

 

It is a bit embarassing, but I booked flight to Girona instead of Barcelona (did not know Ryanair serviced Barcelona itself as well), so will be a bit longer in the bus to the airport. :smiley-laughing002:

Prices to Girona were the same as to Barcelona, but the bus will a bit more expensive. Found a cheap place to stay (which is not easy if you travel alone) next to the place where my bus will leave on Wednesday morning.

 

It's only a few months they also fly out to Barcelona El Prat .... only one thing counts...we'll be there !

 

Well it is good to know if I want to go again to Barcelona, it is a very nice city.

Planning to go to the home CL games as well? Booked flights for the Benfica home game (flying from Amsterdam to Glasgow) and the Barcelona home game (flying from Brussels to Edinburgh). Hopefully I can get the tickets on Tuesday.

 

If I can get hold of tickets, I'll go to the Barca home game as well. I also wanted to go to Benfica, but this is cancelled..can't get off at work.
We'll see what it brings.
