Not sure about that he has being a massive flop. Anyway back on topic this should be a great spectacle. Ibrahimovic, pique and puyol out for barca is a blow. Such a shame that arsenal are missing so many key players fabregas, arshavin, van persie, song etc. Barcelona 3-1 arsenal.

like i said great on his day but thats a rarity , flop eh possibly since we spent 30 million on him when hes only worth half that so i agree in that respect , anyway hope arsenal win but cant see it 3-0 barca for me

I can take your point about Van Der Sar, but he is well past his best and will need to be replaced this summer or next at the latest. Undoubtedly world class in his day though.

Rio makes too many stupid errors for me to be considered world class, I always get the feeling when he has too much time on the ball that he is going to do something stupid.

Darren Fletcher is a very good player, but world class, not for me. There was very little ever said about him until he was sent off in the Champions League semi against Arsenal, then there was a media frenzy about how important he was to the team. Don't get me wrong I rate Fletcher very highly but I wouldn't call him world class, not by a long shot. In terms of world class DMFs I look at the likes of Michael Essien and Javier Mascherano, who offer a lot more than Fletcher, who I would class more alongside the likes of John Obi Mikel. Of course this is all just my opinion.

The point I made about United not having enough world class players was that while they will still be in the hunt for trophy's, they are relying on not having injuries to their best players (look how ordinary they looked on Saturday without Rooney up front) and they do not have the capability to replace players with others of equal or near equal quality. Whereas Rooney used to be replaced by Tevez, it is now Michael Owen, or Berbatov who is the biggest luxury player in world football. My point wasn't that United wouldn't be successful anymore, it was that they would find it a lot more difficult without the strength in depth they once had. In my mind a new centre forward is required, along with a top centre back, a right back and a world class creative central midfielder and the goalkeeper I already mentioned. I'm not sure who these players will be but I like Edin Dzeko up front, although I have a feeling they'll go for Benzema. I think David Silva would add nicely to the midfield and make it a lot more dynamic. I think this will be a busy summer for United, that £80M (plus whatever interest they've made on it) must be burning a hole in SAF's pocket. It's also time to get rid of the deadwood like Anderson who will never be good enough.

He was fantastic at spurs and has so much ability but i just wonder about his attitude. He cost 30 million and in the big games he is on the bench if rooney if fit. I agree barca will win comfortably tonight.

Has Bojan ever started against an EPL club before? It will be interesting to see how Arsenal handle the movement of him and Messi.

Should be another excellent game, I think it will be extremely tight and just hope there's plenty of goals.

The first leg was very entertaining and this game has all the makings of being another great game to take in. With Arsenal having to attack this could be a pretty high scoring game as well which will hopefully see Barcelona come out on top at the end.

i wouldn't say mascheranos better than flectcher , imo flectchers been head and shoulders above mascherano and far more consistent this year anyway , think the fact flectchers scottish some people wouldn't rate him as world class but i cant think of many DMFs better atm , essiens probably the best DMF the world il say that much

any particular reason for not wanting arsenal to win? Apart from the obvious champs league qualifier games against them

I just like Barcelona, personally. The place, the people, the club. All good.
