No they didn't, because they didn't score more goals. They did play better overall but to call it a footballing masterclass is ridiculous. A footballing masterclass would have won the game.

Don't think Barca were as bothered about this one as Real Madrid were obviously going by the team selection but they proved that their 'B' type players could hold their own. Wasn't that impressed by the new signing.

I thought the game was quite poor, especially the first half and the signs must be worrying for Madrid when Barca can leave out Puyol, Pique, Busquets, Xavi and Pedro with Fabregas to come and not have to do very much at all yet still cant be beaten away from home to Reals first team desperatley looking to win.

If it was the other way round and Barcas full team played Real at home without Pepe, Ramos, Alonso, Khedira and Ozil theyd get pumped.

Hacking masterclass. Smith would be proud.

Pepe is the filthiest scumbag I have ever seen in a football shirt. He would fit in at Rangers along with laugherty and Bartley.

Agreed. Pepe is a player ive come to hate. Dirty bassa who moans constantly. If Barca can start without Xavi, Busquets, Pique, Puyol, Pedro, and with Fabregas coming into the mix, I don't see how Madrid will be able to live with them. Can't wait for the Nou Camp. Think Barca can only get better, whereas Madrid played almost as well as I have seen them against Barca for a while.

Madrid were at their best tonight and they still couldn't topple half a team in front of their own lazer pen using twats for fans. They will struggle to compete just like the last 3 years when Barca are at full strength team.

They can't beat us at proper football and they never will under scumbag Jose. They can only beat us playing like complete scum.

Some of the football was excellent to watch, Madrid played well but Barca were hardly at full strength, roll on the 2nd leg :50:

This. Busquets is very under-rated imo in particular.

He certainly is a dirty scumbag. Total hypocrite too. Everytime he gets called for what the replay shows is clearly a foul he is moaning or going off on the ref. Yet he is good for at least one cheap shot if not more per game.

No question Real Madrid were the better team tonight. Especially in the first half. Barcelona couldn't get out of their half for the first 25 odd minutes. They really seemed extremely pumped for the game too. Flying into tackles. Then later in the game as Barcelona somewhat got a bit of flow they hacked them left right and center as if it was a key league game. Barcelona must be delighted with a 2-2 result on the road under the circumstances. Plus what about David Villa's goal. What a strike that was.

go home and dry your eyes badger, seriously get a grip and realize that your arselicking of barca has to stop. Pepe is a brilliant defender but his mentality during games isnt so strong.

Madrid bossed the team throughout the whole game and should have won, saying its a weakend team is silly because they were only missing puyol and pique(who could have came on)

Pique, Xavi, Pedro, Busquets and Puyol are all in the first 11 when fit. Real Madrid just don't have near the same quality as Barca. One chance, one goal. That's all it takes:50:

Really fear for Madrid this season when they can't even beat a weak(er) Barca team.

Good performance last night and still not good enough, looks like another season of Barca dominance..
