Tbh he's been saying this * since he signed and I've been very unimpressed by how downright * cheeky and disrespectful he has been. I also wasn't impressed with Murdo (Tory scab) Macleod saying to him on the radio on the night he signed "Do well and you'll be at Man United in no time" * WHAT?! * you Murdo you *. Lads just * signed and you have him leaving already!!:31:

Theres nothing wrong with having that ambition but for him to say he'll leave next season if he gets the chance even though he hasnt kicked a ball yet is arrogant and disrespectful to lenny and the club imo, its more the 1 year bit that annoys me tbh.

He should be feckin honoured to play in the hoops whether hes using it as a platform or not, eyeing a move in 1 season is ridiculous.

As if scottish or irish players are any better, 99% of people want as much money and fame as they can grab. There will never be another Henrik in terms of ability or loyalty at Celtic again.

I love how they never include the question that the player was asked, only the answer. Makes it easy for people to leap to conclusions.

A lot of people are saying the story is fabricated. Not surprising when you think how much the laptop loyal are scraping the barrel in light of the huns impending doom.

I've watched interviews with him where he's said exactly the same things.

'If possible, I could make the next step in one year - if everything goes well and the club is willing, why not?'

That too me suggests that he definetly was asked a question like " Well what if a move happened quickly" or something along those lines.

I'm ok with this to be honest because Ki, Izzy, Kayal and the likes were all along those lines.

To be honest I prefer it than

"I have always wanted to come and play in MLS so it's the perfect combination for me and a dream come true" - Robbie Keane reveals his joy at a £3.5m move from Tottenham to LA Galaxy. Obviously …

20 August 1999: "It has always been my dream to play in the Premiership and I'm over the moon to be joining Coventry."

31 July 2000: "It's every kid's dream come true. I am absolutely delighted at the prospect of joining a world-famous club like Inter."

14 May 2007: "They say five clubs and all that, but I am very settled here [at Spurs] and am really enjoying it."

28 July 2008: "I've been a Liverpool fan all my life, going back to when I was a kid growing up in Dublin, and I always had a Liverpool shirt on my back. To be sitting here today in a Liverpool tracksuit is a dream come true."

6 February 2009: "I'm delighted to be back [at Spurs]. This is a club that's dear to my heart."

1 February 2010: "I am a Celtic fan and did not have to ask much about it. I always wanted to play for Celtic and it works for all parties."

31 January 2011: "I'm ready to help West Ham stay up. I feel I have plenty left to offer at the highest level for at least the next four or five years."

    Robbie Keane you absolute pellet!

Loyality is dead in football unless your at the top i.e Barca, Real, Man U. If you look at Bangura he was only at AIK for a year and the other Bangura that was upfront with him was only there for 6 months. Why would lads from Sierra Leonne be attached to any small (in terms of league and ability in European compititions in modern times) clubs.

My reaction was wrong. Don't bite. There aren't even any real quotation marks.

Spot on. Stepping stone to England. What bullshit. But I don't think all foreigners would necessarily view things that way. I think that recently Americans and Eastern Europeans have shown a genuine interest to come to Celtic (and the orcs, for that matter), perform well, and stay.

Anyways, Mo's comments there are just sad and very very very arrogant. If he is good for us for a year and then * off, with his attitude, though, my opinion is, great. We'll take the money and hopefully the board will use it to buy us someone with a better attitude. I agree though. The U19s and the Development squad is perhaps where we need to be focusing. Build our own legends.

I hope this is fabricated, I really do. If not, then it is the height of disrespect. Every one of our players would leave for the right team and the right money. That's capitalism; that's football. But, there is etiquette to be observed and respect for the people who have just shelled out millions because they rate you highly. Never mind the fact, he hasn't kicked a ball for us. The only thing that should be concerning him right now is playing well for us.

Lenny should be inquiring as to the accuracy of this story. If false, do a Fergie and tell The Sun to GTF! If true, then Bangura should get a slap round the * coupon!

To be fair he said If the oppurtunity came, then I would consider it. Not I'm leaving next year to sign for a big club.

If these quotes are accurate - and that's a big IF where the Daily Mail is concerned - then what a *.

I'd be sorry we bought him tbh.

Hopefully the competition he represents can bring the best out of Stokes and Hooper, and they can freeze him out of the 1st team entirely. :50:

I agree just merely saying that we aren't held in that same esteem anymore and everybody knows it we can say we want players that would be honored to play for the shirt but no footballer gives a * about that unless they support the club or know that we are the best they are going to get, and most players that say they are honored to play in a celtic shirt are just talking pish to get on the side of the fans at least this boy isn't getting anyones hopes up and is telling the truth

Minty McGowan Oh and if you read anything in the Sun about Bangura using Celtic as a stepping stone to England. It's 100% lies
