Hope his injury is not too bad we can not afford to have him missing -will leave us very short on striker options.

I'm hearing noises that Bangura's knee is more serious that initially thought, and that he could be out of action for some time.....can anybody confirm? If so, our injuries this season have been horrendous!

Cant post links as I'm on my phone. Anyway just heard from my mate that Bangura is going to see a specialist tomorrow and could be out for 2-3 months with his knee injury:38:

This could honestly spell the end of his Celtic career if we sign a better forward in January or something.

Bit over the top? I can't believe that someone who has played in about 5 games and was signed for over £2million would have his career at Celtic ended by an injury already. :97: It's not like he's 35 years old. Not only that, how do you know if we do buy anyone in January they will be better? We've only seen this guy for a few minutes!
I'll just hope for a speedy recovery and wish him my best, as opposed to writing off his Celtic career.

The amount of injuries we get is beyond belief. We had a fair few last season as well and it went largely unnoticed as we were doing quite well.

Let's be honest, something is not right at Parkhead - we have never had injuries like this. I argued that it could be the short pre-season with lots of travelling but that shouldn't have this sort of affect? So is the training methods? Or is it sheer bad luck (unlikely?)

Mixture of all of them I think but it's been happening since we moved to Lennoxtown.

    Plastic pitches? Who knows.

It does make you wonder but surely we are professional enough to have realised it if it is training methods.

I've noticed an increase in injuries ever since we started appointing Sports Scientists - might be a coincidence.

I've thought that myself but those pitches are supposed to be far superior now to when they were first introduced. They used to be known to cause injury but not now supposedly.

    Just pointing out a possibility.

If someone came in and set the place on fire while striking up an amazing partnership with Stokes/Hooper what would happen to Bangura?

He would then have to prove he's better than the guy that's sitting on the bench for example Hooper.

Whatever way you look at it, it's not going to be easy for him to get back in the fold if we sign another striker and lets face it we need another striker.
