Away in Europe??

Id like to see us have a bash against someone away (maybe Aalborg).

Why * around with the formation and leave one up front? We dont have anyone that is quick enough to play that role anyway.

Let our quick attacking players flourish, play our normal 4-4-2 and for * sake have a go at someone away from home!

What have we got to lose? Nothing else has worked so far.

 

yeah a would like to have a go against the likes of aalborg. Playing both maloney and mcgeady on the wings (giving us more options rather than just relying on mcgeady, as proved today we didnt need him), also with crosas and robson playing the balls out wide for the strikers to nod them in once the crosses are produced!

 

I dont think you can do too badly with a 5-4-1 in Europe.

Most of the top sides play a form of this tactic when away from home, even attacking sides like Man Utd.

i,m sorry m8 not meaning any disrespect here but are u havin a laff!! donati!? donati is a waste of space the quicker he gets out the door at cp the better crosas is a definite prospect for the future dont you think we wud perform better with likes of brown or hartley in there??

 

i dont think the above team is too bad. i think that is our best possible as long as donati wasnt in it and crosas was included

This is my team for the Man U and Villareal away games. VOH for McDonald for defending set plays. I was in 2 minds about Hartley and Crosas but Crosas looks better for keeping possession.
