Think it can be safely said that with 4 of the Top 5 all Gangater movies, there is something of a trend here.

 

Cannot believe it, somehow i overlooked this ffs Would have easily been in my Top 20 as well, oh well!!

My thanks again to all that contributed to this. I will be pretty busy over the next couple of months with one thing or another so I can't say for certain when the next will be at the moment, but wanted to get one of these done before my life gets insane. But rest assured, they will be back!

I really appreciate all of your continued support in keeping this going and will post everyone's Top 10's as per usual, possibly in the morning, as stupid me didn't save them all seperately, so have to dig through all of the submitted messages from you all to retrieve them. :/

Sorry, but you'll just have to all learn to live with the disappointment til then.

Has to be pretty close to being the most quoteable movie ever - all the more remarkable as they were writing scenes literally the day before they were shooting them throughout.

 

Once again, thanks to you all. With this Rankdown turning out to be so top heavy, am really grateful to those of you who really went above and beyond with providing so many extras, that were invaluable and without whom, this would've been about a Top 80 instead of a 100, lol.

Oh, and one last thing - a personal thank you also to everyone, that noone included Gigi anywhere on any ranking. That would've been the end of any friendship, probably earn that person a perm ban from being able to be part of Rankdowns in the future, and potentially the end of the world as we know it.

I know 1958 wasn't a super strong year in cinema, but there were still more than a few far more deserving alternatives (Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, The Defiant Ones, Seperate Tables, Vertigo, South Pacific and Auntie Mame all come to mind) than that and cannot begin to imagine what anyone was thinking that year, individually or collectively, that made them want to reward that vile pile of crap.
