I agree this is massive for Murray in terms of his career..
I expect he may still win a grand slam event if he doesn't win at the weekend but that might come after Federer has retired and that alone would devalue it to some degree (in some peoples eyes anyway)..
The fact that many pundits had Federer down as being back to his very best this year and Nadal attempting to hold all 4 titles by winning would make it even sweeter , and you don't get bonus points for beating Nadal or Federer on the way to lifting the trophy so who cares if his path has been smoothed by others..

They say it's going to be hot and the court will be fast so it probably suits whoever is hitting the serve best.. I've noticed Djokovic has a tendancy to look fatigued after about a set and a half of matches in the last year but just as you think he's slacking he finds a bit more..

Intriguing match because Murray has been brilliant at times and also dozed off for a game or two when things look too easy.. Im going for a Murray win but if he doesn't do it I don't think there will be a lot of credit coming his way or much made about how good Djokovic was , more a case of Murray finding a way to lose.. I've watched the Europsort coverage all the way through and I don't think there's much love for Murray.

Just watched Eurosport's brief build up to the men's final..
Rusedski talks some pish for a former player.

"Djokovic will be nervous because of the situation and Murray can come in relaxed"...

how does he come to that conclusion.. Nobody even questioned his thinking..

Djokovic has won the title before while Murray has been around for virtually the same amount of time as Djokovic yet he's seen him and Del Potro win major titles , and must be the one who's nervous because this is already the third time of asking for him and he's yet to win a set in his previous two finals..

If he's trying to suggest Murray can play like he's got nothing to lose then Rusedski is well wide of the mark..
