Not seeing it from him. Nawrocki should have kept his place today

Just always so unpredictable. Prime Baresi one minute, Du Wei on opium the next. Praying Scales gets a chance to put his shaky form right next week.

He's looking like the £6M dud many of us on here were warning about, when we were linked with him.
Big weakling that gets easily bullied and ragdolled by SPL journeymen.

I think this is playing into CCV's worrying form too.
Need Scales back there pronto, we should never have broken them up.

Don’t like him as a player tbh.

Seems to be able to step up in those backs to the wall European games. Then looks then he’s been plucked out a care home in the domestic matches.

Need to reinvest in this position once again in the summer. Wasted money here I think

That "pass" he blasted at Jota in the first half, summed him up today.

Set the tone today, abysmal. Shouldn’t be a starter for us but that’ll mean getting a new CB in the summer.

We definitely need a new CB in the summer, no question about that. But we need to do more, much more.
If we can move on Engels, Hatate, Kuhn, and Trusty, I won't bat an eyelid.

Said to my son during the game that we could do a helluva lot better than Trusty. I just don't think he's very good tbh.

I agree. Only sickener is the money we would loose. Maybe Hatate and Khun would help offset the losses on the others.

I think he's had more good games this season than bad, it is a bit weird how much better he is in Europe.

For me, he's definitely good enough to a rotational option at CB, but we need another CB in the summer to properly challenge for that position.

Thought he looked shaky as * all game, seems the type of player who actually is better the higher the level of opposition.

Think he switches off or lacks focus in domestic games almost as if he thinks it's too easy.

Best performance have came in Europe against top opposition

Confused how he is placed above 'Rocky' just because of his preferred favoured foot. Surely having two left feet is more of a hindrance that one right one. Shown that there is a player in him previously, maybe that knock on the head did more damage than originally thought. Seems more assertive against stronger opposition but verses run of the mill teams he seems uncapable of basic defending in spells, mind boggling!

It's why I don't think he's a bad CB, he was excellent home and away to Bayern and excellent away to Atalanta. I thought he was decent away to Villa as well, good defensively against Leipzig too.

He's had very little game time against the huns so hard to judge him on that, but aye, he switches domestically in general, that one where he lets the St Johnstone striker bully him was poor.

He needs competition for that spot either way.

Think listening to Rodgers comments today about players being comfortable could include him.

As he says comfortable leads to being timid and that's definitely an issue with him domestically.

Yeah need an upgrade on Scales to properly challenge trusty and CCV for that matter

Totally agree and it's a frankly embarrassing mentality. He is nowhere near as good as he thinks he is. Nowhere near.

Yep you would think the fact he keeps getting ragdolled by league 2 level strikers like Sidibeh or Ayunga would have worked him up by now.

It's not the kind of league were you can get away with phoning it in.

But he's shown against far better level of striker he has the ability

He's been abysmal on the ball lately..

Far too slow and pedestrian and losing balls that are easily his, often..

He shouldn't be a guaranteed starter. Needs addressed as some of this lot are too comfortable..

No idea what to think of him. Some days I think he's an excellent defender and other days he can look like Bambi on ice.
