Still not convinced with this guy, hopefully he just needs game time to up his game.

I’ve definitely not seen enough to write him off just yet.

Aye, even if it was one comment that * sticks in my head.

I absolutely agree £6m is mental, but he didn’t set his price tag or sign the deal. Claiming he’s a donkey is embarrassing, especially based on today. He was fine and had a couple of really important moments.

People in this forum more than anything love to be proven right, especially at the expense of a player that plays for their club. Its genuinely the most embarrassing behaviour I’ve ever seen football related.

He’s not a donkey by any stretch of the imagination but £6m is beginning to look like poor business. Scales is carrying our back 4 tbh.

I thought he done quite well, there was one breakaway from them be ran back and got a block in, inside the box.

Felt he never really got troubled, won his headers, wee bit of a threat and attacked our set pieces well although only got the head on one but at least is a bit aggressive and tries to head them.

Don't even recall them running at his or causing any bother tbh

On the ball as well I feel like he passes the ball fine and quick, doesn't look panicky or clumsy or anything just seems comfortable.

I don't think he's bad. He's just not looking that great so far.

I wanted an upgrade on scales at the least and for me I dint think he is in current form.

For £6m that'd concern me. I doubt he was our first choice.

He’s showed some excellent attributes and some *. He’s bedding in and on the wrong side of the centre half pairing.

I’m not writing him off yet by a long shot.

I don't think he's that bad, but the whole defence has looked disjointed sinced CCV picked up his injury. He looks slow as but similar to Samaras, he's got big lanky legs that mean he looks it but isn't really. Was it Duk he beat for pace down the wing at one stage where it looked like they were away on a decent break.

Pace is one thing he does have..

Thought he was a bit weak meeting Shinnie's shot, just come out and take the force of the blow.

We needed an upgrade on Star felt when he was here mad we've replaced him with an inferior player in Scales, it's no surprise our defence is a shambles.

I don't buy the nonsense of Rodgers sees Nawrocki in training every day. There's plenty of players who are a completely different animal in a competitive match. Criminal he hasn't been given a proper chance.

I think there would be a very strong argument to say the current version of scales is an upgrade on starfelt tbh. Our current issue is having no one to come in for CCV when he’s out.

Gradually improving every game, getting sharper - still a ways to go tho.
Wish he'd stop pushing forward late in games - he actually gets in the way trying help move the ball around the box.

I wouldn't agree but that's not really the issue anyway it's our lack of ambition to sign a proven cb instead of spending £6m on a guy that as part of a defence that conceded 104 goals in the league alone.

Stevie Wonder could have told us how that signing would go.

Not the answer on the right. Very passive and got lucky a few times.

One cracking tackle late on though.

He wasn’t good, but not blaming it entirely on him. He made a good interception late on.

The most obvious thing was how one footed he is. First 30m or so he was totally * up or under hitting simple passes and felt like he kept going to Scales too often.

Need CCV back for his ability and also some balance.
