    I think Sky sports reported that the fee had been agreed earlier in the week so probably going off that.

    Starting to wonder whether we are looking at another target we prefer and stalling on this one.

    I would like that too but if we are talking two in this week I don’t think he will be one of them as Legia may still make the CL Groups. Even if they get put out will still have a chance of EL Groups.

    Nah I thought that as well and have seen plenty others mention it. I doubt he'd have brought that up and said it in that manner if he didn't know a wee bit at least.

    Here's hoping. I think 2 this week, 2 the following and then maybe one as the window nears an end when guys become more available and looking to jump ship.

    Couple of those likely to be loan deals.

    A centre back will 100% be coming in. I don’t think we will get a left back in. I reckon we will get a right back, a centre back, a winger and another striker. I don’t think he views left back as a priority right now

    Why do you think that? He’s clearly a smart guy & everyone can see that’s a position that needs strengthened ASAP. I’d be astonished & majorly * off if we weren’t prioritising a new 1st choice left back who fits his system.

    I agree a CB will come in but a left back will too I think. Not all definite starters but I expect the following:

    First team RB who will be a starter- £3mish
    Rotational CB who will be cover for CJ loan
    Left back to challenge for starting spot £1- 2m, Boli will leave before end of the window.
    Left winger particularly if Christie goes, Lovric £4m
    Striker to replace Edouard £5m or loan to buy
    Striker young prospect £1m to provide cover particularly if Griffiths and or Ajeti go.

    Likely spend around £14-15m and bring in about £20m- £22m from selling Edouard(minus PSG cut); Boli (£1m); Christie (£4m); Barkas and Ajeti (£1m in loan fees) or maybe sell one for £2m.

    I’m not convinced about a left back coming in. Not at all. I’d like one to come in, obviously but I think the club are prioritising RB, CB, LW and ST for now. I don’t think they planned on spending money for a GK this window either but they found out that Barkas was useless regardless of circumstances and manager and were kinda forced into it.

    I agree with the above though. I can see a Right back coming in as a starter, like Buta at £3m.

    I can see a loan deal for a CB in the Itakura, Davies or Carter Vickers mould.

    I can see a LW coming in like Lovric, regardless of whether or not Christie stays or goes.

    I can also see us bringing in another striker when Eddy leaves. I think Nisbett is an absolute certainty.

    We all knew that trying to do everything in this window was near impossible. I just don’t think we will get a left back in this window.
    I really don’t. I hope I’m proved wrong but I just can’t see it. Unless something comes up, like a late loan deal.
