Just came across this on another site and it works, people are using promo codes and getting crates and crates of beer worth well over £100 for bout £40. Dont deliver to ma shity town but will do to glasgow etc. Just follow these instructions:
Just to send you on a fantastic e-mail
below. It looks like Sainsbury's have messed up and if you place
an order via their web site for a specified delivery time you can input
vouchers and get money off.
Have a look at the details below and
Do it quick - delivery slots will be
booked out fast.... Get on this quick before they pull the=20
site down - somebody has screwed up big time....
Go to http://www.sainsburystoyou.com
Register and book yourself a delivery
spot. Then select at least £60 worth of goods and enter the codes
at the bottom - you will get £43 off meaning that you only pay £17 + £5
delivery for £60 worth of shopping. You can do it twice - one order
for each delivery week + you can buy things which are already discounted.
I've already done it and it works fine - I've bought loads of beer,
wine and champagne and its only cost me £50 - I've saved over £130....
Do it quick - delivery slots will be
booked out fast....

okay , i copied and pasted that bit .
Read the story , its all cancelled anyway -
Point I was making is don't be scared by lawyers letters. I used to work for a legal firm - all these big words and phrases in letters are smoke and mirrors designed to freak people out.
After a bit of practice you get used to reading between the lines and find out what they are actually saying. -

Hold on a minute that article is from 2004, 2 years ago. There are still people using these codes apparently
-
I noticed the date of the article as well, as i said i managed to order £65 worth of goods for £28 including delivery charge. Shortly afterwards though i was only able to enter one code per transaction, so you can get a guaranteed £12 off when you order £60 of goods.
