Aye I agree with you there Kizzle, I just wish he would :54:

I don't care about this game, the rest yes I do but this game, so close to playing the Scum? I know what one is more important.

For the record I think Lenny will go with this:

    Forster

    Wilson Wilson Maj Mulgrew

    Brown Ki Kayal Ledley

    Hooper Samaras

With Samaras dropping off to the left wing alot.

Depending on how good Bangura is really.

Not a chance Lenny will field a weakened side.

Ki our best player after Kayal? Its interesting how highly you guys rate him right after his worst performance in a Celtic jersey (sion). I think he may be the best passer at the club but I don't think his game is well rounded enough to be near one of our best players.

Would he even get in a 4 man midfield? Who would you guys drop if we are playing an important game with a 4 man midfield to allow Ki in?

Fair enough but for me Ledley is more consistent and well rounded. Good in the air, good at going forward and also tracking back. Ki is more technical imo, but he doesn't have the same level of footballing intelligence.

Right now Ki has started, along with Anthony Stokes, as our best players this season. Therefore until he starts * up it's him in for me.

I agree with you about Ledley, really like him as a player but I think Ki nudges ahead of him just now.

However if Izaguirre was fit it needs to be Ledley in because of his positional play and covering, so bit of a conundrum isn't it? Ki for me just now.

However I would like very much to see a midfield comprised of Ledley, Kayal and Ki in the middle. We may actually keep the ball away from home for a change.

Just not for this match though, Old Firm is too important.

I'm pretty sure Falcao is injured atm.

Edit - Falcao and Diego missed the Osasuna game. Lets hope they are still missing against us.

I will be * delighted if both of them are injured against us. They don't really have another potent striker at the moment.

    Yeah your right.

They just signed Adrian from Deportivo. He played against Osasuna and got a 7.5 rating in the article I was reading. Checked his scoring record out there and it isn't up to much.

That Eduardo Salvio looked great for Benfica last season. Watched him in a few Europa league games. He tore PSV(I think?) a new one, looks like he could be a good player for them. Think he's more of a AMF than a striker though.

They don't need a potent striker against our defence to be fair.

Aye there not short of good attacking midfielders. We need to play with somebody infront of the defence.

I disagree. Adrian is an excellent player and he was top scorer in the European U21 Championships for an outstanding Spain team. He starts ahead of Bojan. I'm pretty sure he had a decent record last season for an awful Deportivo team.

He has always had a good record at lower levels but never really at a higher level, while it's clear he's going to be a good player he is not quite there yet.

Although at a better team this may happen but he has 92 league appearences for Deportivo and 12 goals. He is no Falcao.

I didn't say he was a bad player. I said his scoring record isn't up to much and it isn't.

    23 goals in 161 games.
