We started off well enough and then Dortmund happened

To be fair I would have said the same even if this game was before the Dortmund debacle. They are in good form themselves coming into the game. The best we can hope for is that we actually show up this time and put in a good performance and at least make it a game.

 

Starting Hatate and McCowan together would be a huge mistake. Both are similar, very good players who try a lot but give the ball away too much, I’d start them both next league game but not here.

Playing the Halloween theme from the movie as the teams are coming out the tunnel sums this game up it will be scary and murder to watch especially if Rogers goes with the same gung ho tactics.

 

I’m usually buzzing for CL games regardless of who were playing but I am proper dreading this one. Hopefully Rodgers alters his tactics from how we set up against dortmund and the lads are right up for it from the first whistle

 

This is another loss , get this one out the way, then start to pick up a few points. Just don't shoi a lot of goals as goal difference will come into who gets into the play offs and who doesn't . Then BR surely must have the foresight at this stage . The needs to pack the midfield and leave one up top. Maybe Maeda up top?

 

I predict we'll be doing a lot of learning... Again

 

Hoping for an improved European performance, but not actually expecting much from this. Really hope Rodgers sets us up to play a bit more conservatively to avoid another complete embarrassment.
