    Villa can be got at, no doubt about it. They are a good side, not a great one. Obviously they will be favourites, especially having home advantage, but it’s not a game we should be fearing. I made the point earlier in the season about them not having a great squad, and I stand by that. When they have a fully fit squad, their starting eleven is very strong, a few injuries and they look vulnerable. If they do the same as yesterday and play Digne at centre half after Mings went off, that has to be where we target. He looked like a fish out of water.

    Not necessarily, if all the other results go as expected.
    If we lose, we’re most likely looking at the likes of Real, Munich, Juve or Villa/Atalanta.

    If we draw, it’s likely Monaco, Feyenoord, Villa or Lille.

    If we win, it’s likely gonna be from Sporting, PSV, Brest or City :fear:

    Obviously, that’s only if the results go as expected, but funny things can happen in football!

    I think the problem is the gulf between in quality in the premier league has grown substantially .

    Villa players play week in, week out in a league where the pace, intensity and quality of the game is miles ahead of what we are used to.

    Very difficult for our players to make that transition when they arent getting that kind of competition regularly.
