problem is he has no competition and knows it.You wouldnt in your darkest nightmare give mark brown the position so until something is done to change this state of affairs nothing will change

 

Mark Brown was the best keeper in the SPL outside the OF when we got him. What has he done wrong exactly to merit such criticism? I want evidence of this please

 

He's a professional earning huge amounts of money every week. If he's that mentally weak than boo * hoo, he can * off.

He's had enough chances. If Strachan had ANY bottle at all he'd drop him for the Aberdeen match. When Brown had his chance he didn't flap at crosses, he didn't come out for stuff that he was never going to get, he didn't concede cheap goals, he didn't get into trouble with the opposition fans...

 

Why argue? Some people have it in their heads that Mark Brown is *.

 

Money doesn't guarantee happiness. You're being incredibly harsh on Artur. He's saved our * a lot over the years, the least he deserves is for us to stand by him when he's in trouble.

 

We've stood by him long enough. Every week he's making mistakes.

Yes, he's saved our * a lot over the years, but not this season. He needs to be dropped. If he doesn't, he'll carry on thinking he can get away with this type of woeful form.

Thats true. I actually feel that Mark Brown is a very calm goalie who doesnt ever panic and is better (but noit great) than Artur at crosses. He is not such a great acrobatic shot stopper and doesnt have the 1-on-1 ability of Artur but he is decent.

I dont think Brown has done too much wrong either.

I just dont think WGS has much faith in him or he would have been played before now given Boruc's erratic form this season.

 

Are you serious, he cant be anyway distracted from a collapse of his marriage and then his ex wife taking his son back to Poland?

Anyone that works for a living could be distracted by something like that and I fail to see how a footballer would be any different, paid or not.

 

Artur has been balls this season but i would hold on to him in the hope that he does recover his form, i would hate to see him go elsewhere and then return to the great keeper that we all know he can be at another club.

Give him some time on the bench, Mark Brown is good enough to handle most of the SPL teams that we come up against.

I would also like to see Artur stop acting the goat and worry about his form first and foremost.

What he has done for us in the past does not merit him the chance to remain our keeper despite making mistakes. Football is a business were you are played/dropped based on performances.

 

IMO this is all that needs saying on the matter. If the management don't trust the current back up keeper then they have to cough up to bring Zaluska in now. And i mean for the Aberdeen game.

 

The same could be said for most of our team at some point or another, Artur just gets it far worse because hes the goaley. I dont see many people hating Strachan on here if he makes the wrong decisions with tactics or substitions which he does quite a bit but because of the 3IAR and last 16 reccurring answer we have to shut up. So we can say that Artur has saved us many a time on the way to both of those achievements
