Good post mate ,totally agree with you on cross balls he is shocking ,but overall a good keeper ,who i believe will be missed if he does leave ,maybe now that he spoke to the press regarding his private life ,he may be more at ease ,time will tell :50:

remember when people were getting on Scott Brown's back last season when he wasn't performing as a result of personal issues off the park? Well, Broony was given time to turn it around for himself and he has turned into a much better player and is looking good for us now. Boruc should be given the time to do the same? Too many people come on here and puke up some real pish without even thinking about things.

Let's put it this way, how long are you prepared to let Boruc away with this abysmal form, and let him keep his status as automatic first pick?

Thats a fair point about Broony and personal issues but the problem is an outfield player just becomes a bit of a passanger if they are effected but a goalie with his mind elsewhere is a disaster that will cost games and even cups and titles. At the very least he shouldnt play again until his head is 100% sorted. Its a pity Zuluska is not coming this month. I would still drop him though and bring in Brown. He get a lot of criticism but I can only remember one blunder by him - that weak handed non-save in a CL game. Right now he seems a dull but safe pair of hands.

they're mistakes, generally, dont lead to us losing goals and if they do they get hammered for it like artur

I agree...drop him until he gets it together. And, if Mark Brown isn't your cup of tea, at least you cannae really see him lettin in shots from 45 yds and missing passbacks and all that nonsense. I think he is competent enough to handle the day to day.

I said keep him because every goalie has his bad days, although Boruc has had a fair few this season alone. But his quality shines through these, if it wasn't for his excellent shot stopping Boyd would have scored in the old firm game and who knows where that game would have went. Few other games too that he has saved us in that could have gone another way had a different goalkeeper been in between the sticks.

At the end of the day, he cost us peanuts compared to what a goalkeeper of his quality should cost and i refuse to sign, seal and deliver him on a handful of bad performances.

Edit:(Meant to add this) -and we are not in a financial crisis where we need his transfer fee.

The man is Celtic through and through from only being with us for three years, his blunders upset him and he looks to make up for them in games ahead.

    Give him a break lads.

Let me clear this up ,the keeper is a good one ,celtic will be hard pushed to find another of his quality and i would wish he would stay but i cant see it after the summer ,,i cant remember what celtic paid for him but they will get some mark up on him if he did choose to leave .

He admits its been the hardest time of his life and also says it doesnt effect his playing ,i think it does ,he hasnt been great this season but still does a lot of good ,i dont think he will get dropped either im sure GS will want him focused at all times which can only help him .:50:

as i said in another thread peole need to lay off boruc, todays conditions were atrocious today especially for a keeper who had nothing to do for 99.9% of the game. yes he has had a poor season, but players who go to the European championships/world cup always seem to have a dodgy 6 months the following sason. he is by far the best keeper iv seen at celtic. time to get off his back and support him i would say. :shamrock:

I voted to keep him but i wish there was the third choice to drop him,He should have been on the bench long ago.
Alot of fans rate him as a * just because he gets up the huns nose and give him way to much slack that other players on the pitch dont get.
Put on a pope t-shirt and give the huns the fingers up and you get a life contract...lol.
He is as mad as a box of frogs and i think he is great for celtic but he is in danger of leaving celtic with a cheer and a shove rather than a groan of dispair.

hold on a minute.Artur is the best no 1 we have had in my celtic memory, and i'm 39. in milan, all the AC fans I met wanted him and they have high standards. give him time to recover form and keep supporting him cause it's very hard to find a good one, ask MON.

Having seen the 2-2 draw with dundee utd , i believe we would have won that game 2-0 , two years ago , his positioning at the freekick can be questioned and for their equaliser i believe boruc on form would have saved that but his reactions are getting worse IMO. But in saying that i still believe we should keep him because we have a good goalkeeper coming in the summer which could be a kick up the * for him. Just look at Caldwell since Loovens joined , he's a completely different player. But if a team came in right now with £7 million i would bite your hand off. Just dont get too carried away im sure he will get his act together , the question is , when ?
